This tape gun worked as great as expected, and held up like a champ through our massive move. I like that it has the ability to tighten or loosen the tension so it is easier or tighter to pull the tape out.

Wonderful value! I wish there was a small holder tab to beep tape in place by the cutter.  But, could not have purchased the tape for what I bought the kit for.  Very happy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tape gun by Duck Brand is a good thing to have if shipping lots of items. Initially, there was frustration like most, as to how such a simple thing like this tape gun works. A simple one page set of instructions would go a long way for beginners like me. After looking up an online video on how to use this tape gun, I was still missing a step as I couldn't get it to work as it was not mentioned in any of the videos. There is a thin black cover piece that was over the blade that I didn't realize for a while. After the blade cover piece came off by accident, I was able to use this as intended. 

The rubberized handle has a nice soft feel. Sealing packages has been extremely quick with this tape gun, saving some time as it is efficient when doing multiple packages. The extra tape roll that is included is great to keep going for a while before needing to order more. 

Overall, after figuring how the tape rolls around the roller, and the blade is visible, this heavy duty tape gun makes taping up boxes quick and effortless. Highly recommended.

Tape up boxes quick

I wasn`t sure how to load tape, there wasn`t a instruction page to look at. I not sure what tape rolls will fit when it`s time to refill.

So-So

I bought this dispenser to assemble boxes for my move. it works as designed, save for one small flaw - the piece of metal that holds the tape to the bottom roller isn't wide enough, and will let the tape get off-track or fold up before it goes on the box. if you pull the tape straight, you have no issues.

Dispenses tape, but isn't perfect

This was purchased at the end of last November. It was great while it lasted. While packing things the other day, it completely fell apart. We fixed it, but it didn't last another day before falling apart again. An item like this should last longer than 8 months! Would not purchase this brand again.

Flimy tape sticks to itself. STRONG plastic smell. Dispenser barely cuts.  Only reason im even giving it 2 stars is because ive been able to somewhat use the dispenser for other rolls of tape. The rolls that it came with are basically useless

Should have read the reviews Dont waste your money

The tape gun did not work.  The tape had an awful smell.  I would like to return it and get my money back.  I would never buy this product again or recommend it to anyone.

This product was terrible!

This is the worst tape and dispenser I have ever tried to use.  I thought Duct Brand would surely be good tape.   I have always sworn by the original Duct tape and always have a roll on hand.   This tape dispenser almost takes more strength that I possess to dispense the tape.  The tape breaks.   I loosen the tension and try again.  Again the tape breaks.   I finally put it aside and went back to a partial roll of Scotch Brand tape on it's own little throw away dispenser.  No more frustration,  Good tape that doesn't break in a dispenser that works.

Bad tape!!

This dispenser is totally useless. Unless there is some secret way to load this thing better I believe I will just give up using it and rip the tape off the roll the old fashioned way.
