Attractive Desk Chair

The seat is not comfortable after seating for more than 30 minutes. I wish the chair was taller in height.  I have adjusted the height but it is still to short for me.

Hamlyn Home Office Desk Chair

This is a nice looking chair but I was disappointed by how low it is. As a short person, I'm 5'1" I like my chairs to be able to raise up enough to sit higher at a desk. This chair does not allow for me to sit as high as my previous chair. I was also disappointed that the seat doesn't recline much; I like to lean back from time to time to stretch. Lastly, it is moderately comfortable. That is fine because I don't sit at it all day but if I was still working from home I would definitely not use this chair. Overall...it looks good but is missing basic adjustments that many much cheaper chairs have.

Looks great...that's where it ends

The chair is beautiful but you can't change out the wheel casters so that was a major disappointment for me. The casters that came with the chairs are less than desirable. I had planned to swap out the caters and replace them with soft wheels to protect my hardwood floors but that's not an option so now I need a glass chair mat to protect my floors from the cheap wheels. Oh well, chair still handsome. The pleather looks more black than brown to me as well.

Love the look but.....

Lots of places where the finish does not fully cover the wood, and several dings & scrapes. Looks like a used chair to be honest like somebody used it for a while and has abrasions you should not find in a chair this expensive. Disappointing lack of quality control, they should not be shipping out chairs like this, now I am going to have to go get some wood stain and patch this up myself…..at this price point that just seems absurd.

Nice chair but lots of finish problems.  Looks used.

After one year of use, the seat leatherette is cracking.  Not very substantial for such light use at it gets at our home with two senior citizens.  It just passed one year warranty so they won't replace the seat.

Leatherette seat  cracking

Had for 1 month.  Looks like an expensive chair - and for first 1/2 hour feels fine, then quickly becomes uncomfortable to sit in as foam in seat compresses.  Part of the front of the seat is delaminating (it is faux leather) - see photos.  Back of seat is just a wooden frame with the fake leather padding in the center "hole", no solid support.

Looks nice - but poor quality and uncomfortable

We bought this chair almost 3 years ago and very shortly after, one of the wheels broke off.  Well after quite an ordeal, it was fixed.  About a week ago, another wheel broke, similar to what happened before.  These wheels shouldn't be breaking like this.  What's going on?

The chair was too hard to sit on.  I kept it and put it in my spare bedroom but I will have to get a new office chair for my desk because this one is uncomfortable.  Bonnie
