Beautiful chairs

These chairs are beautiful. I read another review that they had quite a bit of natural wood showing/distressing, which is true, but I like it. They are a true white, not an off white like they look in some pictures. Perfect in a breakfast nook near a kitchen with white cabinets!  Cushions are firm but comfortable. My husband gave it a 6 out of 10 for ease of assembly but it only took him about an hour for 4 chairs which I thought was fine because I did nothing!  ;-)

Beautiful chairs!

Beautiful, substantial, upholstered, wood chair.  The ladderback styling and distressed finish work beautifully with my Ashley Valebeck Metal Top Console.  I can't believe the value of these chairs.  Well engineered for easy assembly.  I bought 4 of these and had all of them assembled within an hour or so. Very happy.

Beautiful Quality Chair

It was a gift for my 97 year old mother. She couldn't sit on her wooden chairs, too painful. They are so comfortable and she can sit at the table again without hurting. The chairs are well made, solid, easy to assemble, beautiful to look at too. There was a few rough places that needed a little sanding but that was just because I felt them. I don't think it's takes from the experience of purchasing. A well made product.

Very sturdy chairs, had much more distressing than appeared on the web pictures.  I would call them heavily distressed.  So much so that I plan on touching up with some paint.  I have the matching bar stools that don't have as much distressing.  One of the six chairs I ordered had a couple of large gouges on one leg so had to return for a replacement.  It probably took about 30 minute per chair for two people to assemble.  Definitely need to level all legs before tightening the screws.

Comfy sturdy chairs.

I bought these dining chairs as well as the matching barstools. I saw the barstools in-store and fell in love with them, they had the perfect "antiqued" and wire brushed look to them. Upon getting the dining chairs, these are WAY more antiqued than the website shows. I still like the chairs and am going to keep them but just FYI the finish on them is very different than the barstools and/or listing. I also saw some other reviews where the chair legs were slightly uneven and making the chairs wobbly, and I have the same issue. Not the end of the world but just another thing to note. This wobble doesn't happen with the barstools.

Good quality, color misleading

Good quality and sturdy. You will need to get sliders for hardwood or carpet.

Cons:  Pocket screws sometimes are stripped from being drilled too large, or at the wrong angle causing the screw to protrude through the surface of the brace or split the brace. This happened on 4 occasions. One caused a split, the other two I cut the tips off of the screw so they wouldn't go as deep, the stripped one I left alone. 

These are minor things and probably likely to happen with any furniture purchase. Would absolutely buy again.

Great chairs!

Chairs are a bit too bulky for the matching table. You can't fit a set of 6 chairs unless they are pulled out, 4 max looks best. The back of the chairs also slant a little too far back for my liking.

Decent

The chairs are not stable they wobble side to side. The wood splits when on the bottom part of chair when tightening the screws. The bottom part that goes in between the legs do not fit flush to the legs and did not fit the legs hole where they went.

I bought these because they had excellent reviews and the farmhouse look I wanted. 12 hours in and only have 1 chair assembled. It's been a total nightmare. Also, they sit very very low!! Be aware only 16 inches off the ground. Normal seat height should be 20 inches off the floor. I believe the dimensions they state aren't correct, measurements are mixed up.  Extremely DISAPPOINTED!
