This is the second Signature Sleep mattress I purchased, and am pleased with the quality and comfort,. The mattress is delivered vacuum-packed, flattened and rolled up, but thickens nicely when opened. No lingering offensive oders too. Some may prefer more padding over the springs, but I use separate mattress pads.

Wow was i surprised in many ways. 1. how quickly this was delivered to me. 2. How it was delivered (a long roll - similiar to a carpet roll). 3. How easy it was to move to the 2nd floor in the roll with straps and 4. how once released from the roll, how it expanded to be a VERY COMFORTABLE Mattress. I promise.. I had my doubts and was looking before i even opened the mattress for toppers. However, it was comfortable and a great deal!

Awesome Value!

I thought getting a new mattress was going to be difficult, I was wrong. The mattress arrived rolled up in a bag with a handle. Very simple to unpack, roll onto bed and let it expand after removing the plastic vacuum sealed bag. This was only a 6" thick mattress but I don't feel the frame slats and sleep great on it. I would recommend this for anyone that is looking to replace a bed at a great price.

Great mattress for ease of set up and sleep!

I will be a student so I needed a bed that was cheap, and perhaps something I can use for 4 years. The bed, as lots of others have mentioned, has been wrapped shrink wrapped and stored in a duffel bag for easy transportation (made the move-in to my apartment easier). I've had this bed for only 2 days now, but I think thus far, this bed is worth the $150 (full size). I slept on it the first night I unpacked it and had no problems sleeping.

Keep in mind this review is coming from someone who has slept on a 6 inch bed before, and has little trouble sleeping on the ground.

I am 23 years old, about 135 pounds. I can't feel the springs in my back as some others have mentioned. The bed is actually quite comfortable - I think it was worth buying.

A decent bed.

Read the reviews and decided to go with this bed, since it's cheap. It's definitely good for the price. Was afraid of being able to feel the coils and whatnot, but you really can't.

Great for the price.

The mattress ships rolled up tightly in a plastic sleeve; I had never seen such a thing and admit was very skeptical. However, once "popped" open, it's a comfortable mattress and fit perfectly in the full bunk bed.

Surprisingly comfortable

Relatively inexpensive and very comfortable. I just threw mine on the floor of my apartment and it's served me perfectly. Small enough to fold in half and squeeze in the car when I move onto bigger and better things in life. Highly recommend it for that college or grad student who's looking for a mattress to sleep on that'll be inexpensive but really comfortable

Great for a student!

I honestly needed a bed as a recent grad student moving into a new apartment. This mattress is cheap but I've paired it with a pretty nice mattress topper, which makes it good for me.

Just average

The mattress came shrink wrapped and vacuumed packed. as soon as you open the packaging it inflates to its normal size. The problem is that it is only 5" thick. We were thinking that would be enough, but it is so thin that normal fitted sheets have lots of extra room and do not fit very well. The mattress is not bad, but it is not much above a cheap hotel mattress. Spend the extra money and get a 7" or 8" thick mattress. Your back will thank you.

Great mattress for a guest bedroom where you do not want them to stay long. One or two nights at best.

A Little on the thin side

I bought this mattress because the Slumber 1 6" mattress was unavailable. Reading the descriptions they seemed to be comparable, so I went ahead and purchased it.

Upon receiving this product, it seemed much lighter than I remembered the Slumber 1 mattress being. When I unrolled it and unsealed the vacuum packing it popped up, but not very far. I let it sit for a few hours to see if it would fluff up any more, but that was all I was going to get. Just placing my hand on the mattress with very little pressure I could feel the coils pressing through the top. I ended up returning it and buying a mattress elsewhere.

This might be fine for a guest mattress or for grandkids to spend the night, but I wouldn't recommend it for a full-time bed.
