On low, it's a lot more powerful than expected, which isn't a bad thing. The decibel level is higher than what I'd want when trying to sleep but making it work. The timer is very confusing. The first night I used it, I kept pressing the button until it showed (what I thought it was) half an hour. Turns out, my wife told me it turned off almost 5 hours later. Still haven't got it figured out yet. 

Overall, it circulates the air in our bedroom very well, which, ultimately, is what we wanted.
