This table lamp is beautiful.  It's about the size of a large bowling ball and has a nice weight to it - I don't feel like my cats will be able to knock it around, thankfully.  It feels sturdy and solid on its base, not tippy.  

Once you put the bulb inside, it has a wonderful, shimmering glow.  It reminds me of photographs of the earth from space.  I bought the teal color, a very pretty shade that's accurate to the pictures shown.  I love this lamp.  I may buy another one...

I purchased this lamp and the following day it was at my door.  Hard to imagine a glass ball would arrive in tact, but it did and was packaged great.  Surprised the delivery people didn't do a number on it.  I purchased the teal lamp.  Truth be told, I like the lamp better when it is off as that is when the teal color really shows. When the light is on, you can see more of the light than the color.  It is far larger than expected and, yes, I did break out a ruler when I bought it, but it was still surprisingly, a good size.  Another reviewer likened it to a bowling ball.  This is spot on, but much prettier.  It has a switch to easily turn it off.  The bulb is a bit challenging to find and because this might arrive quickly, maybe purchase the bulbs with the lamp so you don't find yourself trying to locate the bulb later.  I happened to find mine at a competing retailer, but they were the only ones locally and I live in a very busy Southern California neighborhood.  I considered this purchase over a few weeks and am glad I finally decided on buying it.  The price is nearly half of what others are selling it for.    If you are on the fence, don't be, just buy it.  It is very pretty, very unusual.  Love it!

Very attractive globe. It is whimsical and fun. Color is great. Would buy this again. Highly recommend!

Absolutely beautiful,  it takes a nightlight bulb and the tan glows orange  when on.  If you use a daylight bulb it stays more true to the actual color.

Nice lamp

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought 2 of these spheres from a different retailer at a much higher price......i am happy i also found here at walmart online.....having two before i knew already but please be aware the sphere is a taupe color unlit but once illuminated it is more of a light orangey color - perfect for Fall altho i have mine on all year round...... i DO think the felt around the base can be better....while it protects countertops mine is uneven in spots around the edge and if not careful you could get a scrape or a cut.......overall great value tho!

Third Purchase!

I absolutely love this little light! The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because it did not come with a bulb. It asks for a very specific type and I went to Home Depot, Walmart and Lowes and none of those stores had it! I ended up having to order it online. Besides that its a beautiful lamp!
