The lamps added a little extra light. The room needed some overhead lighting. The only space left was on top of a bookshelf. The lamps small size was perfect for the space. The on/off switch on the cord was an added convenience due to the location. The bulbs are not readily available. Check the specifications on size of bulbs. One shade came slightly dented.

Great lamps

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sipped packed correct

this lamp is smaller than your regular side table lamp about half the size. i liked it because it doesn't take too much space. the chrome material and lamp cover is simple which makes it easy to match with any color of furniture or room design. it uses a B10 type of bulb which fits in small bulb sockets.

Size IS clearly listed in description. (10.5" tall)  However,  the on bulb situation,  these mini lamps do in fact use standard night light bulbs! (purchased at your local Dollar Tree for $1.00 a pack= 3 or 4 bulbs per pack)!

Other than them LITERALLY being only night lights instead of lamps, they are adorable and give off a nice glow in the room. (NOT bright enough to read a book by, but bright enough not to stub your toe in the middle of the night in a dark room!)

The cord is fairly long and on the plus side as well, the mini lamps have a little switch on the plug wire for turning the lamps off and on! 

If you are looking for lamps to "LIGHT UP" your room, you may want to pass on this set of "lamps", but if you want a cozy night light (don't stub my toe in the dark type of "light") these will work perfect for you.

The light bulbs is not the easiest to find! But now that I have the bulbs and the purpose for which I purchased them, I love them!
