Who would have thought a trash can could be cool? This one is, but comes with a high price tag. Needed it for a small apt that has the kitchen & living area in the same space. Wanted something that was aesthetically pleasing and kept smells in. This did the trick!

I love my simple human slimline bin. It's sleek, beautiful and what's most important: hygienic. I love the fact that it's a no touch bin. It's also very useful that the binliner is fixed in place by the rim and that the lid is soft-close. This is my second simple human bin and although they are a bit pricier than average, my first bin lasted 12 years. So it's well worth it in my opinion.

Having had multiple trash cans over the years, I finally broke down and spent the money on a 'premium' trash can. It definitely helps control orders. It is well built and the liner rim holds the bag in place well. It integrates with the compost caddy that I initially hesitated spending the extra money on, but am glad I did.

Worth the price

We originally purchased a well known brand of can that one can find at the big box stores. Our garbage closet is small and we like to have a can for trash and a can for recyclables. Let's just say you get what you pay for. They were hard to open, and really hard to fit the liner. I finally got my husband to agree to throw them away and get SimpleHuman. They are pricey for something you put your throwaway trash in but man are they nice! Gorgeous color, super easy to use and the liner inserts are a breeze!! Thank you!!

Perfect for our narrow space

Discovered this great product at a VRBO rental and liked it so much bought it when we came home. It works effortlessly, quietly and is attractive. The finish is truly fingerprint resistant. So refreshing to find something so well designed, functional and a pleasure to use and own.

Impressive!

This is a really nice looking trashcan that functions well. While it isn't completely silent operation, it is soft close and does not clang at all. It's easy to change the bag out and I really like that the bag is completely hidden. The only thing that could be improved is that the lid doesn't open all the way back when you press the pedal, or when you have it open for bag change. It won't have any chance of dinging your wall this way, but it just feels like it stops a little short to me. I'm sure it's going to last a long time.

This is a really nice

This has been an upgrade in our kitchen - it is a good product. My only complaint is that it feels a bit light - it moves around with use on our hardwood floor. I need to put some kind of a pad under it to prevent this. Otherwise, I am happy with the upgrade.

45L slim step can

love the sleek and slim design, fits my small kitchen perfectly. very quiet closing of lid. however, despite the rest of the sturdy metal design of the trash can, the hinge is plastic and extremely fragile. it broke with minimal force and has had to be replaced twice in 3 months. i'm extra extra careful now when lifting up the whole lid to replace the liner, but disappointed with the experience and quality given that it's not a cheap trash can.
