Texture

Has a noticeable fragrance reminiscent of basmati rice.

Made with decent material and soft texture.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of Sitara Basmati Rice. The grains are long, fragrant, and cook up fluffy with a nice texture that pairs well with curries, stir-fries, and even simple rice bowls. The aroma is authentic and makes meals feel a bit more special.
The only reason I didn't give it a full 5 stars is that it takes a little extra rinsing and soaking to get the perfect result, and the packaging could be sturdier for storage. Still, for the price and quality, it's a great choice and I'd definitely buy it again.

Would you like me to make this review more buyer-focused (highlighting value and savings) or more culinary-focused (emphasizing taste and cooking tips)? That way it fits perfectly with your resale and listing optimization style.

Sitara Basmati Rice – 4/5 Stars

best rice ever. Comes out nice and perfect. No sticky, mushy mess. The grains are seperate but cooked all the way through and lovely. A deeelicious bowl with a bit of salt, pepper, & butter or an awesome bed to put several different dishes on top of. Butter chicken, pepper steak, ginger beef, kafta, thick bean or meat stew, etc. I love the reusable bag too.

Sitari Basmati Rice

Sitara basmati rice is very good for everyday use, length of grain and texture is comparable to premium brands.

Good product.

Easy to prepare and economical plus the texture of the cooked rice is good even the left over stays soft

No need for this question

This rice has exceptional taste. I don't want to tell you that because then it will be even more difficult to get on order. You have to rinse it. It's worth it.

Exceptional Taste

Complaining about taste? Did you rinse the rice four times or as I do, seven times, or not at all? You're getting rid of starch and arsenic. There are YouTube shorts that will show you how to rinse rice properly.
Without changing rice cooker directions, you can add frozen peas, carrots, a pinch of turmeric and then cook it 😋

Rinse the rice

nice tasting nice, the sewn packaging is a real pain. There is no need what so ever for them to sew it. The rice is in a sealed plastic bag. Drop the cost for sewing and lower the price.

nice rice, pain packaging

Not original Basmati. You can easily tell when you wash the rice. Polished rice would always yield more white substances whereas original Basmati would require minimal cleaning. Would not buy polished rice again.

Not original

I have bought this earlier a couple times. It is not a very very good quality basmati rice which you would like to use for biryani etc but somehow they were okay considering the price but the latest ones I bought are pretty bad, they are very sticky and not at all tastes like biryani rice.

Very sticky, not like basmati rice

Washed and cooked-tastes like contaminated with motor oil. Cooked second pot and same issue. Never had this issue with any rice before.

Light taste of motor oil
