Protein powder

Great price.

six stars

I'm actually shocked how much I like this stuff. So much I had to write a review. I rate the taste 5/5, which is the most surprising. I was expecting to have to force myself to drink this stuff. The protein itself I'd rate a 3.9/5. 1 scoop (included in the container) contains 30 grams of protein, 2 grams of fat and 9 grams of carbs. I mix it with just water to keep my calorie count down (170 calories per scoop) so I was prepared for an unpleasant chalky/chemical taste and lots of clumps (since I just stir it with a spoon). After my third glass I was hooked. I'm not even a big chocolate lover but this stuff tastes way better than it should have any right to.

I recommend mixing it with a blender. It will clump if stirred in a cold liquid but you can avoid 97% of the clumps if you stir it for a really long time-- for like a good three to four minutes. The only way I can describe the taste and consistency of the triple chocolate whey protein is if you were to add hot chocolate mix to non-hot water.

How I use it: I drink 1 scoop stirred in water before working out and drink 1 scoop added to water after working out. I workout 4 days a week so on my off days I just drink it as a breakfast substitute. So a 2lb container will last me about 14 days. You could also take it before bed mixed with milk.

Does it work: If you need inexpensive protein (either to bulk up, feel fuller if dieting or just save time as a meal replacement) 60 grams of protein a day for only 18 grams of carbs and 340 calories is pretty decent for what this stuff costs.

Been using for a month...pleasantly surprised

Not a huge fan of most protein drinks but this one is not bad. It does have wheat so it's not for anyone with Celiac but otherwise it's great.

Good stuff

[Employee of walmartcanada] That's pretty much what I look for. It's not chalky or clumpy, it's mixes nicely with water. It's not a whey isolate but the price is right. Looking to try some other flavours too!

Mixes well and tastes good

This is my first time trying Six Star and I haven't had it long enough to tell how effective it is, but for sure it is too sweet and artificial for my taste. It's also prone to lots of little clumps if you shake it only; it may mix better if you blend it.

Too early to tell

this is going to sound insane but I feel like it has a wife or essence of jalapeno. It's so gross. choking it down because I paid for it and there is protein in it allegedly
