Plus, they're excellent for clearly cropping photos and cutting windows in cards, bags, boxes and scrapbook pages. Designed to cut a single sheet of cardstock, paper, metallic foil or vellum, these dies also make great stencil sand are perfect for layering to produce a 3-D effect. Sizzix is one of the best brands of dies to buy. Although the dies are very thin, you get a very clean sharp cut out. To get the best results do not try and cut anything thicker then normal cardstock. Be careful not to bend the dies.

For the amount of pieces you get in this set it's a great value. The last question for this review asks me how often will i use the product. I can only say i will use it a few times a year because i have such a large collection of a variety of sizzix dies. It's good to have the framelits on hand you never known what size square you might need.

I was in need for squares to layer on card, this die set fit the bill. However if you are in need for 1 inch or less this set isn't for you, the smallest is 1 1/4 up. I think the package states 1 1/8 but it is larger than that. Otherwise they all cut just fine.
