I already own (and use often) a full sized Big Kick machine. I had hesitated buying a duplicate die cutting machine, in a smaller size, for storage reasons. 
This little dynamo really delivers though, and is worth way more than the small space it occupies. The original BigShot machine does take a lot of table space due to the full-sized cutting plate's path into and all the way out the other side. The SideKick has a tiny footprint, due in part to the short cutting plates. Not only will it fit in the smallest of craft spaces, but those shorter plates mean many fewer cranks of the handle - a Godsend if you need to pass the same small die through the machine many times for a project. So far, the suction device has held the machine to my wooden table very well.
Thus far, there have been no down sides to owning this little machine. If it even begins to be the bargain that the BigShot  has been, it will be some of the best money I've ever spent.

I wanted something I could put on my desk to die cut smaller dies to put on my projects without constantly bringing out the bigger machine. This fits the bill perfectly. I use it constantly. It stays on my desk for quick die cuts. Would highly recommend!

Perfect size

Great preassure, comes with some dies and embolsing folders. Keep in mind it's really small. Great for small projects.

It's a great item but really small so most of the dies and embossing plates won't go through it.
