I bought a pair of slip-on Skechers GOwalk for an upcoming trip to Italy & Switzerland, but, felt I need a pair of lace-ups also. As it turns out, I only wore the GOwalk Max lace-ups in Europe. We just returned and WOW!!! What a pair of comfortable, durable & cool looking shoes! We toured a bunch of small towns in the Chianti region of Italy, attended the Montreux Jazz Festival street fair & walked in the Alps. My sketchers are wonderful! Thank you!

So far, these are really comfortable shoes.  They are very lightweight and breathe well. My feet generally hurt all the time from years of being on my feet for work and extensive walking, but, the sole and insoles are very comfortable and make being on my feet much more comfortable.

Great Product

I absolutely love these walking shoes. They are so lightweight, comfortable, and breathable. It feels like you you are walking on pillows.
I bought the extra wide so my toes aren't squished together. I wear these when walking a few miles on the treadmill everyday. My previous walking shoes were too tight and caused black and blue toes and corns. I have had no issues with these walking shoes. However, if you are looking to be stylish, these shoes are not for you. My wife calls them old man shoes:-) They are mainly for comfort and practicality.

Excellent lightweight walking shoes

Extremely lightweight shoes, I had doubts about their durability. I am a large guy and I have put probably 100 miles on them so far and they feel the same as the day I bought them. I think they will become my go-to walking shoes if they prove that they last.

So Different They Took A Little Getting Used To, But I Like

I ordered Skechers for the first time last year for my business partner after I ordered ten in one year for myself  because they are so comfortable.  We work in a kitchen and he was surprised how comfortable and light. Everyday in a kitchen for 8 to 10 hours puts wear on legs and shoes.  This style lasted over a year so ordered again.

Perfect for job

i love these shoes. Never before had shoes that feel as  good on my feet as these. I wear these shoes at work where I am on my feet aii day. These feel as comfy at end of day as they did at start of day. I actually bought these shoes after my boss kept bragging on his. glad I listened.

I would by this shoe again and again.

I have an extremely narrow foot. I buy AA tennis shoes. So when I saw these came in narrow I was skeptical but ordered a pair to try. My comments are; they are narrow and fit in the heal very well. They are light, nice cushioned, and comfortable. The only negative I would give is they don't have the support of a Brooks or New Balance but they don't cost $130 or $170 either. So for walking they are fine but I would not recommend for running. But since I don't do that any longer they are fine for me.

They are comfortable for the money and good for narrow feet

Not as pictured. The panels where the laces are threaded do not contrast as much with the rest of the shoe- mostly the same. I needed a shoe that I could wear to work (business casual), but also walk 4+ miles/day in. So far, so good with the performance, but too casual for wearing to work.

Very comfortable walker

Great shoes; comfortable , don't look like sneakers, but feel like them. Light weight, and easy to walk in. I am 65 years old, and my 260, 6' body, has taken a lot of abuse over the years. 41 years of public service, doing law enforcement, and federal personal security for Congress, resulted in a dozen orthopedic injuries, along with the hours of conditioning I did for 50 years to stay in shape, to survive a wide range of violence directed at the people I was tasked to protect. The right shoes are critical to me getting around these days, and slowly fend off the time when I will have to use mechanics to be ambulatory. Thank you for your shoes. JR

Great Casual Shoe for 65 year old, big man, with injuries

This shoe has been redesigned since I bought my previous pair.  The insole seems to have less cushion and the padding around the ankle and on the tongue is about half of what it was.  The shoe isn't nearly as comfortable as it was.  As usual, a manufacturer takes a good product and tries to squeeze a little more profit out of it by lowering its quality and then ruins it.  That's just the way it seems to go.

Not as good as it was.

The shoes have felt on the bottom in various places. It is very dangerous. I did not see it, put the shoes on and took a few steps on my marble floor and fell. My foot came out from under me as I attempted to go up one step. Terrible design. People come across smooth surfaces while walking. These shoes are not made for walking. Maybe bowling.

Terrible and dangerous, do not buy!
