Variable speed control and overall design make it simple to operate.

Offers good quality at a reasonable cost.

So far it is ok, the dust connector, isn't good at all.

My first orbit

skil.com

I have always wanted a sander but was reluctant in purchasing one but I have found the perfect fit. Not only does this product feel comfortable in it's use it also performs beautifully on wood.

Perfect palm sander.

walmart.com

Very smooth and quiet sander. Seems to be well made, but time will tell. Dust collection is about the same other sanders I've used. Great value compared to higher priced sanders.

Skil 2.8 AMP R/A sander

Great orbital sander - best I've ever owned. The low vibration (vibration control) GREATLY reduces hand fatigue. I think it's way better than the Skil 5" orbital sander model 7492-02 I previously owned

Best sander I ever owned!!

Well built. Feels solid in the hand. Dust collection works better than my old Bosch RO sander

Excellent value

So far it's a great orbital sander, low vibration, easy to use, dust catcher gets most of the dust. Happy with purchase.

Orbital sander

Great sander with the best dust trap system I've yet to see or use. This is a little work horse. I've put hundreds of hours and it's as good as the day I received it.

Great Sander and Reliable for daily use.

Bought to replace my broken harbor freight sander, seems well built, i like the adjustable speed, got in sale for under $40.

My only complaint is the dust trap box comes off sometimes if you are moving fast. I recommend cutting an innertube to help it stay on the dust spout. The little rubber O ring isnt enough to SECURELY hold it on

Works great

This sander has worked very well for all I want it to do. I first used it to sand parts of my deck for refinishing and it did the job easily. I then used it to sand down a railing that needed refinishing. Again great performance. My one and only issue is with the dust collector that pops off sometimes while I'm working, especially on a vertical surface. I read some reviews that said it wasn't powerful enough and it would stop when you pushed too hard on it. My response would be that you don't need to push that hard on this machine. IT does the work, YOU don't have to! I have owned it only a month, but to this point, I would definitely recommend it.

Great Little Sanding Helper

TERRIBLE PRODUCT!!! The bottom of the sander that holds the sandpaper ripped completely off the sander when I used it at the highest setting. 5 months old. Fortunately I bought 2 yr insurance policy. Will update on how this is handled.

DO NOT BUY !
