AMT 1953 Ford Pickup Baja Patrol (1/25)

The AMT 1953 Ford Pickup Baja Patrol kit lets you build a rugged off-road service truck ready to tackle the harshest desert terrain. Styled after the classic ’53 Ford pickup, this model captures vintage automotive charm while adding unique Baja Patrol features for a bold and adventurous build.
Product Info: This 1/25 scale model kit by AMT recreates the iconic 1953 Ford pickup customized for Baja duty. With period styling and off-road upgrades, it’s ideal for both collectors of classic trucks and hobbyists who enjoy customizing.
About the Vehicle: The 1953 Ford F-100 was the first of Ford’s redesigned pickups in the postwar era, marking the 50th anniversary of Ford trucks. Known for its stronger chassis, wider cab, and distinctive styling, the F-100 became a favorite among workers and enthusiasts. In its “Baja Patrol” form, this classic truck is transformed into a desert rescue and service vehicle—equipped for rough roads and unforgiving conditions, symbolizing both durability and utility.
About the Model: This kit includes detailed parts for building the Baja Patrol version of the 1953 Ford pickup. It features off-road accessories, patrol markings, and classic AMT quality with plenty of room for customization. Molded in multiple colors with chrome and clear parts, it’s designed for intermediate to advanced modelers. Assembly is required, and the model can be painted for extra realism.
