Perfect for folks who aren't fans of Bluetooth for one reason or another. I don't like that I need an additional adapter for my headsets. This one comes built-in and from a trusted brand. The sound quality is great and the in-line remote works well with my newer phone. I like that the fit is customizable and actually fits very well even though I have a small ear canal. They are pretty noise isolating despite no actual ANC feature. The only thing missing for these earbuds is a small case for them to prevent them from getting dirty and storing them when not in use. Overall, the value for the money is extremely high and I recommend these if you need a simple yet effective headset for newer phones that don't have an aux port.

Great fitting and quality USB-C earbuds!

I highly recommend thos product. I've been a Skullcandy buds user for many years with a 3.5mm hookup which was great. I recently got a new phone that requires a USBc hookup so I purchased these. The sound, bass, volume, and quality is amazing! The price was a bargain for the quality sound and fit is great too. Highly Recommended!

For $10 or less, the USB-C Skullcandy Jib is excellent. It sound as a good as many USB-C earphones twice the price. I'm no audiophile, but I own or have owned several audiophile recommended headphones over the years, so I know what good audio sounds like. The Skullcandy Jib is not as good as those, but it's close enough, and is excellent for the average consumer.

The clarity is good, there's not pop or hiss or whine (which I have to say because other cheap earphone sometimes do have noise like this) which is to be expected from a quality name brand like Skullcandy. The sound signature's similar to the older wired Jib I've used in the past, but it seems like they tweaked the bass up and slightly improved the treble. Traditionally, the Jib has been a mid / vocal focused earphone, and that part hasn't changed, but it looks like recently Skullcandy's decided to add more bass to the Jib to fit what most consumers want.

It's not an overwhelming amount of bass, it doesn't overpower the mids for instance, but it does compete with them a little. Treble's improved a little too. Not as emphasized as the mids or low end, but what's there is good without being fatiguing, and has more detail than the Jib had in the past.

Overall, I'd say that the Jib has been changed over the years from being "flat" tuned, to "harman curve" tuned instead. AKA more exciting  and less studio accurate, which to be fair, is what most people want.

I had no issues with the USB-C connection, or connector, although the wires look a bit thin so I don't know how durable this set will be long term. At any rate, I wouldn't recommend treating them roughly. There are only 2 sets of included eartips. Medium (which are the ones on the earphones by default) and small, which come in a little plastic bag. Medium fit me just fine, but those who need "large" eartips will have to get those separately.

Overall, these are great for the price, and I recommend them. Audiophiles might want better, but could probably tolerate these, which is more than can be said for the even cheaper stuff, like the Case Logic "2 for $10" USB-C earphones I tried recently, which were barely adequate, sound much worse and are much less comfortable than the Jib, and would immediately be returned by audiophiles.

The Skullcandy Jib (in USB-C) are comfortable, sound good, and cheap, and also sound the way most consumers want earphones too, so I recommend them. I don't know how durable they are long term, but I treat my stuff with care, so I hope I won't have to find out the hard way.

For this price it's excellent, like the wired Jib

received these after piercing two more spots in my lobe, and my wireless earbuds made them hurt SO bad, but these wired ones don't cause any pain because they're smaller generally and fit right in my ear. noise cancelling is surprisingly good, jungkooks voice is crisper than ever. i use them with my 16e  and have had no connection issues. and the logo is so cutesy~~~ i like how i can switch between songs as well as control volume. very responsive, sometimes i think i developed telekinesis.

Okay. I would still recommend these headphones. If you are looking for a pair that are wired. Not Bluetooth. I have had mine only a few weeks and one ear is not working that great. But sometimes I fall asleep in mine. Also, the adaptable ear pieces are a joke. Make sure you realize this has a microphone and not a volume control. It does not control books on audible to the next chapter or advance songs in Amazon Music. But you can talk on it. It is supposed to change chapters and advance. I have not seen this function work.  But if you just want a pair of headphones to listen to something else with other people in the room they are great. I didn't like falling asleep in my Bluetooth ones and breaking them.

Listen Up

I had heard a lot about skullcandy over the years so I finally decided to get a pair. Here's what I found out. They aren't worth the hype. 

The sound is just like any other wired earbuds. No better. 

The controls on the wire do not control the volume. These are the only earbuds I've ever seen in more than 20 years that didn't have volume control. You must reach over to your device to adjust the volume. Not good when you're in bed or driving. I didn't even think to look if they controlled the volume because I've never seen a pair of earbuds that didn't. 

These don't have the little sliding piece of rubber that you can pull up under your chin in order to keep the wires from just flopping around everywhere. 

Consensus? Don't spend $15 on these when that $4 generic pair on Amazon sounds just as good, has volume control, has the chin piece, and has more sizes of earpieces included.

Get the cheaper generic pair instead

Not sure if I got a lemon but since getting this, my phone been heating up, you hear a very loud static sound when connecting to a call or watching something and the button is to sensitive it will hang up a call just from a small bump to it. Skullcandy is my go to but this model is not IT.

Bad pair

I bought the  Same headphones 3 times one ear stopped working with less than a month this tolime less than two weeks. Im trying apple brand this time. I would not recommend.
