I was so happy that I would be able to use the SkyDrones X600- High Definition Live Streaming Wi-Fi Drone to actually see what happened to the roof. It has been a rough winter and a very slow and cold spring. In my glee, I forgot that I needed a warm day with no rain in order to use SkyDrones X600- High Definition Live Streaming Wi-Fi Drone with Bonus Extra Battery!

One thing about using outdoor items is that weather conditions have been very unpredictable or just plain strange. I did put it together; however, due to landscaping issue, I cannot really use the Drone. Once the issue is resolved, and the weather is good, definitely will be out there with my SkyDrones X600- High Definition Live Streaming Wi-Fi Drone with Bonus Extra Battery!

This is very neat and lightweight easy to navigate controls and does not look like it will be difficult to handle once it is airborne. From what I have read, this should be an awesome "toy" to have. Knowing that I can view things on high, without getting on a ladder or calling handyman is great.

I've been flying RC many years, (JOIN AMA!), have more expensive quads, but this one flys nice! Light weight, for indoor or light winds. Nice clearly labelled  transmitter!! Parts inerchange with other brand quads. (modifiable!) Altitude hold, and camera on a $20 quad?  Awesome!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The drone is easy to put together and understand the directions but they do not explain everything you need to know on how to fly it. I am still attempting to learn to fly it and without the "Land" button I would have crashed it many a time. That button is a lifesaver for it stops the drone immediately and lands it safely from that spot.
I still have not got to the point of taking pictures or videos with it and am not quite sure how that is going to work without some sort of software or app to add to my smartphone. Just something else not mentioned in the instructions.
If you are new to drones, this is perfect for you. It takes a while to learn, but does not allow for you to get into to much trouble with over-sensative controls.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are looking for a drone, you need look no further! This drone has it all! It is light weight and extremely easy to put together! Within a few minutes this drone was put together. Unfortunately I live in a high wind area and it was almost impossible to successfully fly this drone out doors to get a real feel of how well and high this drone can go. I have waited and waited to use this outside but every time I tried to use this drone outside the winds would be blowing so terribly I felt I would destroy this drone. And being so light weight I did not want to risk it even though an amazing feature is that you can basically call the drone back if lost somewhere it will find you! How awesome is that!? I had used it several times in doors and let me tell you it took no time at all to fly and figure this drone out! It is so easy to use and the controls are easy to understand and use. The picture quality is amazing! You download an app to your phone turn it on and there it is the picture is on your phone and the phone hooks to the controller! So simple and so smart! And it has its own wifi! It works wonderfully! I love my husband loves and my kids love watching us fly it! It's awesome! I would definitely recommend this drone!

Cheap there are some perks pricing! I will take to lake Friday and test out it does not tell u how to charge it so it took me a good 30 minutes to find charging spot its not in the manual either. So if you get this take bottom part off and there is a wire pull out that plugs into charger which connects to computer or if u have a head to plug into wall that can be done also. Other than that it is good for price and worth it for beginners I saw one review state camera is uoside down my guess is they are airhead because it says on the back 360 button so it can completely reverse so saving you blondes a headache as well lol buy it worth the play til you can get a more expensive one ill uodate after I fly it friday

Pricing worth it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first experience using a drone and the X-600 HD Live Streaming Drone has so many easy to use functions it's like having a built in co pilot. Straight out of the box I charged both batteries which takes up to 90 minutes per but I wanted both fully charged because the flight time runs around eight to ten minutes. The controller takes 4AA batteries that aren't included so make sure you have some on hand. As the batteries charged I downloaded the free app to my tablet and the app is pretty straight forward and easy to use for a beginner like me or a kid. The drone has functions like auto landing and take off, altitude hold, one key return and auto hover which makes it so much easier to get started or fly than I thought it would be. It has live streaming and the picture quality was even better than expected. It has three speeds, is pretty quiet and it flies very stable which is probably the six axis gyroscope. It also says it does 360° flips but I need to get used to it before going full on stunt woman lol. This is a lot of fun for both kids (it says ages 8+) and adults but the picture quality and easy controls would make it a great tool too. I made sure to get a clear picture of the back of the box to show a list of all the functions and specs.

Fun and a great picture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I selected this item to enjoy with my grandsons 11 and 13. I had no idea how difficult this was going to be to get working. If not for my grandsons limited knowledge It would never have become airborne. It was packaged well and arrived in perfect condition. Assembly was quick but the charging takes a long time, well over an hour. It is extremely light weight and I guess that is so it can fly but it appears to be fragile and I don't know how long it will last. Especially with children using it. We haven't gotten the app downloaded yet. We are going to have to get help with that so we haven't used the camera. Because of the short flying time, less than ten minutes. My grandsons became bored with the whole thing and lost interest. So now it is put away and waiting for another family member to drag it out and work with it. I don't see this as being a great toy for children. Maybe teens and those who are technologically savvy and have a lot of patience. So to sum it up we were less than impressed and somewhat disappointed. I was going to give this item 3 stars because of the short flying time and the difficulty in getting it set up and flying. But I decided on 4 because I am not positive it is the product that has the problem or us.

disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Skydrones X600 High Definition Live Streaming WI-FI Drone and was so excited to try it. It was easy enough to put together. Even comes with it's own screwdriver. You have to open the battery compartment on the drone itself and plug it into a computer to charge it first. This was not exactly easy to do but you can slide the little door under the camera toward you to get it open. You will need a QR Code Reader to scan the Android or IOS barcode which came up in Chinese so you need to change it to English at the bottom of your phone screen. I was never able to get the thing to finish downloading as it would always stop part way through. The manual is not of much use at all. The directions are so poor and the quality of the pictures are so poor you can barely see them. So now as to flying the drone, you need to put 4AA batteries in the remote. You put the two levers toward the lower inner conners of the remote and then you move them to the outer lower corners. It was very exciting when it took off but I couldn't get it to return to me. I would land it and run over and get it to start again. Well this only lasted for a couple of tries and it no longer would work. If I were a kid, I would be crying by now. I spent so much time with this drone, trying to get it to fly again. I recharged the battery but nothing helped. This would be a really fun drone if it worked. I am so disgusted by this drone and I would not recommend it to anyone.

A Real Dissappointment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I couldn't figure out how to get this drone going, so I let my husband (who owns a professional-quality drone and is an FAA certified drone pilot) test it for me. His opinion is overall this drone is extremely disappointing. The instructions are very inadequate and are totally void of several critical steps, especially in the charging process. It's almost as if there were some pages missing from the manual! The only way he was able to finally get it charged was to partially disassemble the unit and stumble upon a connector to the USB cord that the instructions briefly mentioned, but never described where it was nor how to access it! Once charged he finally got it running and synced with the iOS app on his phone. However, the instructions ARE TOTALLY WRONG as to how to get the drones's motors started. He had to experiment with various sequences of joystick positions to finally learn how to start the motors. Once he figured that out he was able to fly it just fine. However, when he activated the onboard streaming camera he discovered IT WAS INSTALLED UPSIDE DOWN making this drone totally useless to for video streaming or photography. Overall, it's an extremely poor value and would not be recommending this drone to anyone.

Disappointing Drone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] X600 HD live streaming Drone came packaged well. Some assembly is required such as the propeller guards and the landing gear need to be put on the drone. The instruction booklet was of very little help when trying to get the drone up and working. The on line App was of no help either. Most of the instructions on line were in Chinese. Trying to connect the camera of the drone with the App was unsuccessful as well. As there were no clear instructions on how to get the HD streaming to work. We got the drone to fly successfully 3x's when using the auto take off and land feature. It worked well at first. But then just out of the blue, the Drone started to fly sideways. When going to the trouble shooting page of the instruction booklet it says that the cause of that problem is either a bent blade or the motor needs replacing which makes no sense because the blades aren't bent and the motor still works fine. I wouldn't waste my money on this.

Not worth the headache!
