My kid loves all the Skylanders games. Great item for birthdays and Santa gifts. I don't know enough about the games to tell much more other than they seem addictive. Once you buy one, you will want the others.

The game is fantastic. Walmart as alway has the best prices. I just wish that the company who created skylanders STOPS making new portals. Just wish we could upgrade the two already from the last starter pack and save us some money.

After reading the rating I returned by too much violence and age was 10+ , I have a 5 year old.

Not recommended for a 5 year old

Adding to the game with different characters, traps etc keeps the game fresh for the kids.
Double edged sword...yes, you'll want to buy more add ons, but it keeps it fun.

6 yr old grandson loves it!
