Made just like the original metal slinky. I bought it to put on the arch of a shepherd's hook to keep squirrel's from getting into a bird feeder hanging on the hook. When the squirrel climbs the pole and latches onto the slinky, it stretches and bounces. I haven't actually seen a squirrel, but the bird feeder hasn't been robbed since I did this.

I used to play with Slinky's all the time when I was younger.  I purchased some to hang on my bird feeders to keep the squirrels off.  I know it sounds funny, but it seems to work.  So...now that I am middle-aged, Slinky's have been a squirrel deterrent.

More Than A Toy!

I was able to pick up item in a timely manner and the Slinky does what it's supposed to do. It was difficult to find a metal Slinky, I'm glad Wal-Mart had them.

Good product for price

It's a classic slinky. I purchased this for my two year old that loves to throw balls down the stairs. We just figured we'd switch it up.

As a child, I remember when this came out.  Now I am 67 and still can buy and enjoy

Its something I had as a child and can now enjoy watching my grandchildren play and learn the tricks like the walking the stairs

It brought back so many memories of my childhood! I bought it, because I found a post on Pinterest, that if you lay it on its side, and glue the ends together, it makes great storage for lids of storage containers.

I might have to buy a second one to play with!

This product is great for Science projects.

The slinky box was partially crushed and torn. The slinky itself appeared fine. This does not look like it should be presented as a gift and that was my intention when I ordered it. Disappointed here.

the product is of poor quality it is not steel it is a metal that leaves a bad smell on the hands
