I have to say that I am sad I got this book as an ebook! It is such an amazing book that I would love to share it with my friends and family. So if you are interested in getting it, be sure to buy the paperback.
I didn't realize this is the last book in a series. It could be a standalone book, but now that I know there are others in the series, I can't wait to read them. The story is an amazing love story, not only between a man and a woman, but a father and his daughters, step mother and step daughters, sisters, and the relationship between people and God.
Anise becomes a part of a broken family. The loss of Ross's wife, the mother of his daughters, has left the family scarred. When Anise joins the family, there are mixed emotions. The story goes on through their lives showing the realness of life. The good, the bad and the ugly. Each person experiences storms that they must work to get through and inevitably they figure out that God and God alone can fully bring them through their trials.
There are many quotes from the book I would love to share, but I don't want to give any spoilers. It is a beautiful book very real to life. It brings so much comfort and truths to many different situations that we may face. I highly recommend it. I cannot say too many good things about it. I hope you have a chance to pick it up and enjoy it as much as I did.

Love how Eva Marie Everson weaves real-life issues into her stories and this is no exception. The third in her Cedar Key series, Miss Everson brings the Claybourne family full circle for healing and a chance at forgiveness. Enjoyed every word!
