I wouldn't normally buy something like this where you need to connect to an app to use it, but it was on sale and cheaper than the one with an analog gauge at the time. It doesn't come with a can of refrigerant, so I went to CT to pick one up.

Once I was ready to use it, I opened the app and the first screen asked me to scan the UPC code on the can of refrigerant with my phone. After I scanned the UPC, I received the message "Code does not exist". I couldn't understand why I couldn't proceed any further with the app, so I decided to give customer service a call. Long story short they get you to scan the UPC code to make sure you're using the A/C Pro brand refrigerant, and if not, they don't let you use gauge that you've already paid for.

I am now choosing to not buy anything from A/C Pro again and putting this item where it belongs, in the trash (I bought it too long ago it is no longer available for returns).
