The rock guard arrived with missing and incorrect hardware. The plastic bag containing the hardware was broken open and the nuts and bolts were lose in the box containing the rock guard.  The washers and four nuts were missing. The instructions say to drill 1/4 inch holes for four of the  bolts to go through  but all of the bolts included were 5/16. The pre drilled holes were for 1/4 bolts so the 5/16 wouldn't fit.
Before I bought this other customer reviews indicated trouble with the hardware. Guess I should believe the reviews.
