One of my cats loves ribbons, so this is obviously for him. He loves it! Doesn't always work well but maybe that will improve when I change batteries.

Throw this in a paper grocery sack and this will get your cat's attention!  I like that it runs for awhile before shutting itself off. I just gave one to a friend. Her cat is now attacking the sack.

Cats favourite toy

Cute it goes slow and than fast almost like something is perverting it from going around. I purchased a different one that rolls on kitty power instead of batteries and my cat loves that one just looks at this one.

It is a fun concept: I love that it turns off by itself after a little while. Got only 3 stars because it is a bit too weak: does not work on carpeted areas. Gets stuck easily, mainly when it turns on its side or goes under the sink or furniture. Baby kitty does like it for a while, but she loses interest once it gets stuck.

Not too bad, not too good...

Furious.  Not even one ribbon in the package.  That was the whole point--without it the cat won't be fascinated, won't getany exercise.
What makes me suspect that this isn't an accident is that the enclosed paper doesn't mention anything or even how ribbons would attach to the device.  I also see I am not the only one with this complaint.
So "disappointed" doesn't cut it for me--I am FuRIOUS.

Furious.  No ribbons

So we have the Green SmartyKat ball and it is wonderful. So I ignored other comments and went ahead and bought this. Within 5 minutes the part with the ribbons came off the ball and it does not " click" back on. I tried gluing it on but the next day it was off again. Also it is has a very odd movement. Slow, then almost nothing, then it sort of tips over, and well even my cat was bored waiting for it to do something. I recommend getting the green one with the long per top and feathers! That one is a lot of fun and works really well. I even recommended to friends and their cats love it too.

Don't buy this one lol get the Green one instead

don't waste your money on this toy! says it comes with batteries, which it did. but mine were dead. had to wait till I got to the store to get batteries to run it. when I did the top screws off  just as quick as it screws on. then my cat takes the strings that are on the top and runs away with it so the toy is separated and doesn't have the part that works. to make it easy to put the top back on making it like a screw top but like I stated it just as easily comes off the same way every time I find it around the house it's off the top. bottom line it's not worth the money.maybe $5??

crap

I received this today, the speed of shipping was great but the ribbon was missing from the toy. The packaging was the type that had to be cut open with scissors, so the ribbon was never added which makes this toy completely useless. I will be be returning.

Disappointed

The ball wouldn't spin. It was non functional at the time of arrival.
