Snow Flower and the Secret Fan

this book went beyond my expectations & i'm so pleased i bought it. it captured my attention right from the start!

great book!

I am not a big fan of fiction but the research by the author on this subject helped me to appreciate this well written story. It did get a little long in the middle making the point that Snow Flower's life was pathetic. Sometimes I became frustrated with her situation, but the writing was so well done that I stuck with the book. Overall, a very good book. Well researched and well written.
