snow joe is light weight, easy to handle. it did a good job of removing the 4-6 inches of snow. much easier than shoveling. quicker, also as i didnt have to stop and rest. make sure you know the way the wind is blowing as you dont want snow in your face or the snow to land on where you have already removed snow.  i have a long drive way, used a 50 ft cord. the cord was no bother as i am used to using corded tools, lawnmower, etc. eady to put together.

My first time to use and we had 2.5 to 3" of snow. like any snow blower it is a little noisy but moved the snow with no problem. Since I am 80+ it is a lot easier and less strenuous to use than a shovel. While it moves over the surface without too much effort I would like wheels in the back.

This electric snow shovel far exceeded my expectations. I used it for the first time a few days ago when we got our first snow. I was truly amazed at the ability of the shovel. It actually performed as a small version snow blower. It was perfect for what I needed and I would recommend it a thousand times over to others. It was very easy to handle and will always be a must have for the winter for me. I am thoroughly satisfied with the product. It took the work out of laboring to move the snow. It made the task very simple and easy to perform. Being a female in my sixty's I could not ask for more.

I received it but have not even opened the box yet.. Bought it as a clearance item  and hopefully when Im use it it will work as I hope it would

This shovel arrived quickly and was easy to assemble.  If this little gem works as well as the SJ618E then I will be a very happy lady.
Will leave another post once the snow arrives.

Quick delivery and easy assembly

I need to return for one with as to heavy for me to lift. Want to re-order corderless

Snowjoe no more shoveling.

Very lightweight (15 lbs). easy to use and manuever.
Works great when the snow is first coming down, but do not wait till it's past 4-6 inches.
Also once snow is mixed with rain or sleet it becomes more difficult for the motor to handle smoothly. And the next day after the snow had frozen, it was back to using a shovel.  But I expected this.
My only complaint about the design is that you tighten a bolt to attach the handle but after using it does move slightly.   Just keep an eye on tightening this aspect.

Snow Joe Handheld Blower for older folks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Going to return MY FAULT needed battery operated.  Didn't realize these were corded

This product is not for short people. When I tried it, it has to be positioned like a regular shovel but when in that position, it throws the snow so high and everywhere that it goes to the neighbors, so I had to tilt it a little higher but then that makes it hard to navigate.
