I have to do a disclaimer, the video and picture are of my older 621 model. I sold it to my nest door neighbor and the purchased the 623. We have not had any snow since it was delivered, but if it works like the lesser 621, I'll be thrilled. Easy to put together, easy to store and oh yeah, easy to use.

Love my Snow Joe! Two day severe snow storm ended and my Snow Joe was up to the challenge to clear my driveway and sidewalk of almost two feet of snow. Love everything about it and the light makes seeing in the evening so much better. I highly recommend this product to all my friends and anyone looking for an easy to use, reliable snow blower.

For $250.00 I wasn't expecting much but thought I would give it a try. I am extremely pleased I did. 
First off, if you are expecting the kind of performance you would get out of a $1,500.00 or $2,000.00 double or triple phase gas snowblower than you will be very disappointed. That said. This thing moved an incredible amount of snow for its size and weight. We just got a foot of snow and I had 2 foot snowdrifts on my driveway a mountain of snow at the end of the driveway from the plow. I had to take my time and sometimes make 2 or 3 passes to get it cleared but it did it!  Even the mountain of snow at the end of the driveway. The trick I found is to do do small passes of 6 or 8 inches wide when the snow was more than 9 inches high. Sometimes I had to ride up over the snow and take the top 5 or 6 inches off first and the take the rest off in the next pass. 
I am very impressed with this little snowblower. I'm retired so I have lots of time to clear snow but absolutely no desire to do it by shovel. For me I couldn't justify spending $1,500.00 plus on a snowblower that I might need twice a year. 
The snowshoe was an excellent find. Highly recommend

Beyond expectations

I received and put together the snow Joe about two months ago.  It was easy to put together - only the handle and the lower crank rod needed to be assembled. It has a very good 13p (English version) manual. Today was the first day to try it out. About 4 to 6 inches of fluffy snow had fallen overnight at about 20°F with no wind. It's simple to start (and restart) by pushing the button while pulling the lever. The Snowjoe did a nice job of scraping the concrete apron in front of the garage and on my deck. I had to buy 100 feet of 12 gauge extension cord to reach the bottom of my 80 foot gravel drive. I'm not sure why the 12 gauge is required when there's no ground on the two prong (!) Snowjoe, but I didn't have any issues with breakers tripping and was not :) zapped. I was able to flip the cord out of the way fairly easily. I made about five passes on the driveway to accommodate my terrible car backing up skills. Technically, we're not supposed to use it on gravel, but I found pushing down on the handle a little (as suggested in the manual) seemed to clear it. I only scraped a couple little divots without consequence. I chose this model because of the metal “plates” (see drawing). The plastic wheels are kind of small, but I am 65   years old and out of shape and was easily able to blast snow while pushing it uphill. It comes with a plastic shovelette tool that clips to the handle bar. At the end of the long session, I unplugged, scraped out snow with the shovelette, and hauled it back up to the deck and inside the house onto a puppy pad so it could defrost and dry out. Several chunks of ice dropped out. I believe ice is its weakness so it's best to remove clumps and not let it freeze up underneath. I didn't have to force it in deep snow and did not smell any overworked motor odors. I will baby this bad boy in hopes he will last more than a couple of seasons. “Real” snowblowers are well over my budget. And my trusty snow shovel would have taken hours and heart palpitations.  I feel so lucky that I got a $98 black friday special and think it would be a bargain at full price. I will edit this review if I run into problems. Drifted old snow will be the ultimate test. For now I recommend it.

Got to use the snow blower with wire  this morning. It tends to blow the snow backwards even with adjusting it to where it should blow. It falls back onto the machine and blows on to you. The good thing about it is that manages to clear all the thick snow that the snow ploughs leave at your driveway. The wire with plug that's on the machine tends to come off time and time again from my extension cord. Overall performance 3/5 and glad that it's a steel blade !

This product has saved my back and is sooooo easy to use.

Best product I have ever bought.

Handled 8" of snow no problem. It even out blow my neighbors' gas powered ones, distance wise. It does move wet snow but you just have to do it at slower pace which is the same with gas powered units. Dragging the cord does take some getting use to but no a big problem for me. I've done some research on this one and it pays off!

Powerful for an electric snow blower

We needed a snow blower to clear our deck of snow by throwing the snow over the glass enclosed railing since we are in our 80s and can no longer do it by shovel.  Our first test was with 10 inches of snow-the unit worked well and easily threw the snow off the deck over the railing.  Happy now and hope the unit lasts since it will only be used for this purpose.

Good For My Needs

I bought this because I was tired of lugging around my old gas-powered beast of a blower.  It works just fine for my needs: A 20' 2-car driveway and small sidewalk area.  It's a bit of a pain making sure the extension cord stays out of the way while I'm using it but that's to be expected with electric-powered tools.  This snowblower works great for light, dry snow.  It easily handles up to about 6" of dry snow but struggles with heavy wet snow that's more than a couple inches deep.  It also will not handle hard, chunky, icy snow and the plow pile, but that's ok too.  It does what I need it to do...clear the driveway quickly.  As long as I don't let the snow pile up too high, it makes quick work of it.  I was also surprised that it throws a good distance (about 10'  or so), didn't expect that from this small blower.  Bottom line: Don't buy this for heavy-duty snow removal.  It's perfect for lighter snow in smaller areas and I am happy I bought it.

Handy Little Snow Blower

small and all plastic. it is easy to assemble. literally no cord. this is good for getting rid of snow if you dont have ice, dont have leaves or small branches in the snow and dont have any acorns or anything other than snow it its path. If you only have snow on the sidewalk it works great.

It barely throws fluffy snow  of  5cm about 3 meters. Definitely not for Canadian winters. I'm in Southern Ontario, I imagine someone up North ..
