This little unit has significant power and is a real back saver! I just cleared 8 inches of snow with no problem. Throws it 20 feet or more! It's only 10 inches wide so more passes are needed than a snow blower but it's perfect for me because I don't have a garage and it's smaller than an upright vacuum to store in my closet or shed when not in use. Minimal assembly was required. I'm very pleased and highly recommend. Really saved on my back!

Awesome Powerful Little Unit

Fantastic. Quit powerful for the level of snow we have. 4 inches of packed show cleared easily. A wider version maybe faster - but - I mainly go this tools to clear my walk way and up the side of my driveway so people visiting - can do so when it snows. I get a horrible sore back when shovelling - sciatica... but not with this power shovel. Very happy with my Snow Joe.

A very Helpful Power Shovel

Bought this as a gift for someone who has a large driveway and walkway to clear.
She was very happy with it because instead of having to buy multiple expensive batteries, this was always ready by simply plugging it in.

Beats battery powered fo big jobs

Used it once, very easy to use and does a good job with 4-5 inches of snow. Throws it pretty far.  Does not do well with frozen iced snow or the snow at the end of the driveway kicked up by a plow but for 60 dollars is a great time saver

Great value good for light to med snow

Great little snow shovel.  It did the trick for me.  I have a bad back and find it difficult to shovel a path when we get snow.  The Snow Joe works great and it is not too heavy to carry or move around.  It was a very good purchase.

Great small snow shovel!

I can't lie it's pretty small I didn't think it would work but it did. I only have a small path but if you got a driveway or anything bigger I would  recommend you getting a bigger size electric shovel but 9/10 RECOMMEND

9/10 recommend

Used it for the first time on 4" of wet snow. worked really well Had to take it a little slow but it was way better than using a shovel. Found it worked best when using it like a vacuum cleaner, just go back and forth about 2' at a time overlapping a little bit and it worked great.

I had to remove one of the grommet guiding the wire between sections has it was not possible to push sections in one-another.  made sure that the wires were not pinched in anyway while assembling.  Used it on a fresh snowfall and it worked perfectly (10cm snow).  Throwed the snow a good 2 to 4 meters away.  Better than was expectiing.

assembly is tricky, but works fine

Just bought this last December just in time for the snow. Used it and it was quite good. The problem is there's no switch for the power. You need to hold it together with the other button. And now I thought I can use is again to make my shoveling easier but the thing didn't work. It's dead. No power at all. It's only good for single use. A waste of money. I want my money back.

Very poor quality

It is super lightweight and user friendly and I had high expectations. It threw the snow high and far but during the first use, even though it was fluffy, light snow, the plastic circular blade broke/chipped in three different spots. I returned the item and the customer service gal indicated that it had been the second one returned that day. Too bad, I think a non plastic bade would be more durable. Disappointing cause it would have been idea for a deck/patio.
