Bought the roof rake for my cabin and house and absolutly love it. Well worth the money.

Great rake

This is a great product. The instructions are easy to understand for assembling and it is very durable and does what it is supposed to do. The manufacturer's box it comes in is a little too short for the telescoping handle. Thus, on the last extension, it was jammed in the plastic to where the curve is in the handle. It took a little elbow grease to pull out but it came out and works fine. Some people might be inconvenienced at this matter.

Reach is as expected; however, the extendable pole bends alot; concerned with how pole will hold up with very cold temps.

For the price I was pleasantly surprised how well the Joe roofer shovel worked. I just recently had a tin roof put on and the combination of the new tin roof and the Joe Roofer Shovel they work great together. I would highly recommend this item.

roof snow removal

I am very pleased with the rake but I am disappointed with after sales service since a part was broken when I received it and I cannot get a replacement part because the distributor is located in the U.S.

Works very well.

Used the roof rake one time to remove 4 inches of snow from a ground mounted solar panel array. One of the support brackets broke loose from the rake. The connection of the support bracket to the rake is a screw into an insert in the rake. The insert broke loose from the rake. A better design would be to bolt the bracket through the rake using a bolt and nut.

Poor Design

I purchased this item online and picked it up in the store. I used it for about 1 hour trying to get snow from my roof. It extended nice and long, but it broke right where the screw went through the pole to affix the shovel part. So I returned it and got my money back.

Broke in less than 24 hours

I went to walmart insalem nh haveing purchased this snow rake thru the internet ,On arivel at my house with the snow rake i found that the esembly was easy but the parts were bent in the box The box had no damage ,then the locking device on the pole does not hold and guess what The pices slip on pulling easy power slow junk

We for this snow shovel and it was useful for about 20 minutes and then the plastic part (the shovel/rake) broke from the handle. There was a lot of snow and some ice on the roof but isn't that what the rake is made for? At any rate, I can't recommend this one.

Can't handle a tough New England winter

The first time I used this rake one of the brackets broke off. Since I needed to clear my roof, I had to install a screw through the plastic, thereby eliminating any chance of returning it. I contacted the company to see if they could replace the plastic portion. They were of no help at all.

The second bracket broke shortly after that! This product is basically junk!
