SPRING IT AND FLING IT® This winter, experience the cutting-edge in snow clearing technology with SNOW JOE’s SHOVELUTION, the ultimate strain-reducing snow shovel with spring-assist handle. Now you can shovel smarter, not harder to quickly and easily get snow out of your way. No more heavy lifting with a traditional shovel! No more aching back! Shovelution greatly reduces the effort, strain and potential injury involved in shoveling, using the powerful muscles of your upper body to do the lifting and throwing, and sending lifting leverage to the lower hand – to reduce back strain by up to 30%, so you can lift more, and throw farther. With SHOVELUTION’s patent-pending dual-handle spring-loaded system and durable 18” blade, you’re always ready for the next load. SHOVELUTION captures the expended energy from throwing the snow, and rapidly recoils to instantly reset the shovel. And, Snow Joe’s SHOVELUTION isn’t just for winter weather. Use it to easily lift loads of mulch around the garden come spring.

Design Concept

Simple process with minimal parts or effort required.

Features an ergonomic shape to reduce strain.

Shovel is shorter and scoop is smaller than my other shovel...but with the added handle...the shovel doesn't have to be as big and heavy any more! the snow really does fly off the shovel - love it - and most importantly - my back loves it too!

my favorite new shovel!

snowjoe.com

After finally getting snow, i realized after shoveling that my back wasn't hurting . easy to use, great design. My other shovel always tweaked my back . I'm 100 % satisfied with my purchase and would recommend his shovel to everyone.

The best snow show shovel I've ever used.

This was the best shovel I have ever used. We received 8-10 inches of snow, and I have a regular snow shovel, but I wanted to try this based on the videos I saw. This shovel allowed me to stay almost upright while picking up the snow. Once I had a lot of heavy snow on the shovel, I was able to throw it very far with ease because it allows me to use all arm strength and not use my back. I cleared the deep snow from the driveway with ease and I'm turning 60. The metal edge is not great for scraping ice. I had to switch to my steel shovel to get the ice up. I will never use my old snow shovel again!! Also, I don't give reviews, but this product really earned it.

Best Snow Shovel I Have Ever Used!

walmart.com

The action of scooping up and heaving shovels full of snow can be backbreaking work. But with a Snow Joe, the addition of a second handle positioned such that you can put the strength of both arms to your advantage and thus reduce the strain on your back is an improvement that makes great sense. I will never go back to using ordinary snow shovels having used my Snow Joe with the wettest, heaviest snow from an early spring surprise dumping of 10 inches of the stuff. If you need to get extra tossing distance to clear your path there is no other way to go to get the job done quickly. I highly recommend the Snow Joe.

Get the job done quickly and save your back

I've had my shovel for a couple of years and unfortunately, today the additional handle that is flexible broke off where it connects to the pole. Wondering if I can order this handle with the metal strap?

Extra handle strap broke off

I've seen young kids struggling with their bent-handle shovels while I'm shoveling away with my "Strain-Reducing" Snow-Joe at 64 years old.

Unfortunately, the shovel is now 4 years old. The paint on the spring-steel element for the lift handle has chipped off in multiple places, and the steel is rusting. And today, the steel edge popped off the shovel blade. It's still somewhat usable, but I doubt I'll get another season out of it.

Meanwhile, the ancient wooden-handled / aluminum-bladed shovels that I inherited with my father's house are still going strong. They're just not the best for my ancient back!

Great shovel, but it's not going to be an heirloom

It does pretty well at being a shovel. However, after leaving it out and then using it on a warmer day, this rust colored water came pouring out of it. I saw the drips in the snow and thought I was bleeding but then I found the source to be the shovel. I am hoping the fluid does not stain the pavers and my clothing. If it is just rust, what does that say about how these fasteners will last the seasons?

Dripping colored water - will it stain?!

I liked the handle design but also expected a decent build quality. My shovel tray cracked during the first shoveling itself. Don't expect that from a 50$ shovel. Don't recommend buying due to poor quality, handle design however is really good!

Good handle design but tray broke on first use!

Absolute trash excuse for a shovel. Come to the first snow storm with a hint of ice and it completely shatters. The plastic is flimsy and the metal strip at the bottom is completely for show. Don't waste your time or money on this piece of junk.

Sure to fail when you need it most!

This item broke on me after the 2nd usage. I have used the Snow Joe bought in 2021 with no problems so it seems this newer model has subpar quality.

I was also surprised to find that Snow Joe literally did not respond to my warranty inquiry and it seems they aren't honoring it.

Broke after 2nd use.
