Snow Joe electric snow blower works awesome. Moves the snow out of my driveway. Very Pleased with the operation and ease. 5 star review....

walmart.com

The price of this item was very appealing. I was kind of nervous but this item was easily for my husband to assemble. And easy to use

So I bought this as we had 2 snowstorms bearing down on us. And yes the snow did reach us with at least 2 days of with more than 10 cm. And the snowplow pile today was about 24 inches high. The Snow Joe cut through it all, running continuously and cleared everything including the snowplow pile. I had to run up on the pile and get the top thrown first and then a pass for the remainder. It even peeled some ivmce from the asphalt and threw it with the snow. Very happy with this little machine.

Snow Joe for the win

This thing is easy to assemble and has gotten great reviews online.
I have had one instance to try it on some leftover snow in my backyard and i was impressed. One thing you do need to spend on is the proper gauge extension cord. I ended up buying that from amazon and an organizer as well.

Best deal and real good value snowthrower

The snow blower is a very nice surprise - works very well, used it in 4-5" of snow and more than that on the end of the driveway where the plow had piled up a ton. It went thru the 4-5" very well and the 7-8" at the end of the driveway, I had to take the top off first then the bottom, but even with having to do that, it worked very well. The cord is a bit of a pain but I had a gas powered prior and would much rather work with the cord than the gas. I have a small driveway (1-car) and it did a good job - right down to the pavement.

Very please with Snow Joe

snowjoe.com

I didn't want to mess with gas and oil from a regular snow blower so I went electric. This snow thrower has worked very well. Even when we just had over a foot of snow, this worked well. I did smaller rows but that was just fine. I got used to the cord quickly because I have a smaller Snow Joe snow thrower that worked so well, I decided to upgrade. I do like Snow Joe products.

This snow thrower does the job!

Recently bought this, because this year's winter in Minnesota finally broke me. So far, so good. Works great and can chew through a lot--up to 8in so far.

As other reviews note, the cord can be a pain to deal with, but for the usage I have it is manageable.

Why did I wait so long...

This works alright for light freshly fallen snow under 6"-8" that hasn't been on the ground for more than a few hours. It works ok for my needs, but it was maybe a funny coincidence that when I used it for the first time, I noticed my next door neighbor actually owned the same model (SNJ-SJ627E) and he was taking it out to the trash because the cord connection started smoking on his model. It comes with a two year manufacturer's warranty but my neighbor said his lasted 4 years before it started smoking and he felt that was a reasonable amount of time for a Walmart product. So, if you reduce your expectations for what this snow blower is capable of and know that it will probably stop working in about 4 years, and that still works for your needs then it's a relatively fine purchase for its price point. I'll be keeping mine and hope I also can get 4 years out of it.

Broken %26 smoking after 4 years, less powerful

Unfortunately I was not able to give this unit a good review. Seemed well made but it was damaged during shipping. Loud noise when on. Nothing like the SJ625E I was trying to replace. I liked the auger better on this unit but unfortunately did not function well.

Wanted to love it...

I had a Snow Joe electric blower that lasted me 7 years, but unfortunately gave up this year and smoke started coming out of the motor when I tried to use it. I decided to replace it with another similar one so I ordered this 22inch blower. Unfortunately this new blower is very cheaply made and does not match the web site picture or description. The product description states “Equipped with a reinforced auger, 4-ply rubber padding, and 4 heavy-duty rubber-tipped blades,”, the actual product has a one piece cheap plastic auger that will likely break once used! Not one piece of rubber on it and looks totally different than what the website pictures show. Returning it tomorrow. My advice, stay away from this garbage!
