I kept this shovel in my online cart for several months hoping it would become cheaper as we got closer to Spring. About 10 days before a major snow storm was forecasted, I saw the price was significantly lower than it was. I purchased the shovel and it was delivered the next day. It was easy to put together and was ready to use. This is the best shovel I've ever used. I highly recommend buying the shovel and you'll have a much easier time shoveling any amount of snow. It was also much easier on my back as it hurt much less than it used to after shoveling.

The action of scooping up and heaving shovels full of snow can be backbreaking work. But with a Snow Joe, the addition of a second handle positioned such that you can put the strength of both arms to your advantage and thus reduce the strain on your back is an improvement that makes great sense. I will never go back to using ordinary snow shovels having used my Snow Joe with the wettest, heaviest snow from an early spring surprise dumping of 10 inches of the stuff. If you need to get extra tossing distance to clear your path there is no other way to go to get the job done quickly. I highly recommend the Snow Joe.

After finally getting snow, i realized after shoveling that my back wasn't hurting . easy to use, great design. My other shovel always tweaked my back . I'm 100 % satisfied with my purchase and would recommend his shovel to everyone.

The best snow show shovel I've ever used.

Shovel is shorter and scoop is smaller than my other shovel...but with the added handle...the shovel doesn't have to be as big and heavy any more!  the snow really does fly off the shovel - love it - and most importantly - my back loves it too!

my favorite new shovel!

It does what it says it should do. Being over 6'2" I found the handle to be a little too short and could feel a strain in my upper back and shoulders. To resolve this problem I would extend the length of the handle and add a few more notches for adjustment.

New design on an old product

See Title.....however, the “primary” shaft is a bit too short.
I am just over 5' 10”.
Also the “primary” shaft could/should swivel via the lower 
handle grip, and that lower grip could/should be “adjustable”, up or down to accommodate user physical 
uniqueness.

Good Value....could be BETTER!!!

Bought my first Snowjoe Shovelution last year and loved it. The mechanics of it really make shoveling easier, even the heavy snow at the end of the driveway. 
If I had any complaints my first shovel did not have a metal strip on working edge. And that edge has not held up very well. I was glad to see the metal edge on our new shovel.

Great shovel

I live in Pittsburgh, PA and although I received the shovel earlier in January, this morning, 1/30/17, was the first opportunity to use it on a light snow. It seems to work fine, but I suppose usage under a heavier snowfall will be more telling, not that I am looking forward to that!  It was a very cold morning, around 25 degrees, and the snow stuck to the shovel. I wonder if spraying the shovel with silicone spray alleviate this situation without damaging the shovel itself.

It is different!

The shovel arrived in a relatively small box that was incredibly light.  I opened the box and it was modular and as stated light weight. The plastic in the shovel is more pliable than I had expected.  I suspect that is part of the design so you do not get to over aggressive with it.  The shovel works like a charm when it comes to light snow but is not for the crusty frozen stuff.  The 2 handle design is fantastic, and saves your back once you get the knack of it.  I would purchase it again even with knowing its limitations.

Unique design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shovel is to small, wish it was wider. We have big wide driveway takes a lot of passes with it.

Absolute trash excuse for a shovel. Come to the first snow storm with a hint of ice and it completely shatters. The plastic is flimsy and the metal strip at the bottom is completely for show. Don't waste your time or money on this piece of junk.
