Sparkling water has a refreshing quality.

Produces bigger bubbles than regular sodas.

Can be durable, but also prone to damage or leakage.

I appreciate WALMART offering and exchange program for CO2 cannisters for my soda stream.  It was easy to exchange the spent cartridge with a new one.  Thanks for providing this service to those of us who appreciate making our own bubbly water...

The co2 cartridges are very easy to install on the soda stream. My only complaint about the whole setup is putting sucralose in the syrups. i just can't. The device itself is brilliant though. Ours even got used in a school play for it's special sound.

Great Product

I have tried before to order the exchange cartridges, but I would always in the past receive a notification after the order that the product was not available. It always showed up on the site as available at my rural superstore. Finally, this time that did not happen. They had the exchange, and the site-to-store clerk knew what they were and how to handle it. Now, I can save half the price on the cartridges because I no longer need to buy spares.

I marked durability as good because I have yet to get a cartridge to last for more than 40 liters (rather than closer to 60) even using the low carbonation settings.

Love my Sodastream, but, I fail to understand how my local supercenter carries the $30 spares, but not the $15 refills when they are exactly the same thing. I'm glad they now have CO2 back in stock after not having it for nearly the duration of the pandemic, but, seriously?

Why do you have spares but not refills?!

I wanted an extra CO2 bottle as I drink at least 3 liters of carbonated water a day (most of the time without any flavoring added) and to be honest, I won't drink water unless it's carbonated. This way I always have a full bottle tho use while I'm getting one filled

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I feel that it is a really good product and I will be able to refill it for less on the exchange program but still feel that all of these CO2 bottles are a bit pricey.

I have used the exchange system three times now over the past 6 weeks or so. It is a great option for the environment as well as for my wallet. The last time I did the exchange, I got a "full" sealed container. Normally each container lasts about 2 weeks. The last one only lasted for 1 week. I did not use it any more than normal. I'm not sure if there was a leak somewhere that I just couldn't detect or if the container was not filled properly. I exchanged that one and have another so I started keeping track of the number of liters I am making to be sure it's lasting like it should. Other than that one little glitch I have been very satisfied with the exchanges.

Refill option is fantastic!

We had to pump it over 25 times to get it to remotely have bubbles. Followed everything as directed and even watched YouTube videos as it was failing. Barely tasted sparkling. Tried holding it a full 12 seconds as some people recommended and my son still said it was lacking. Feel like we used up 75% of the bottle to try to make one drink taste like sparkling/seltzer :(

I have had soda stream for over a year. 

I just ordered this replacement cartridge and when I  tried to put this in the device, it nearly broke my device. 

I had to Dig my old cartridge out of the neighborhood garbage bin to see what on earth the difference is between these two, because the differences are NOT listed in the advertising on Walmart. 

Come to find my cartridge had a tiny little lip that this one doesn't have, 

But nowhere did it say that there is a difference between these cartridges, and the wrong one could break your soda stream device. 

If different cartridges go to different soda streams, that information needs to be FRONT AND CENTER.

Not labeled correctly online- almost broke mine

I ordered two canisters for curbside pickup.  When I was putting them away, I could clearly feel difference in weight.  When I pulled the light one out of the box, it was missing the plastic wrap seal.  On the scale, it weighed 24.1 ounces.  The other had its plastic wrap seal and it weighed 41.4 ounces.  I grabbed my recent empty to weigh it.  It weighed 25.5 ounces.  The "new" had near zero Co2 gas.  Who is refilling these recycled canisters up?  Is it Walmart or Sodastream?  it's an issue of quality.  How can I trust that they're going to fill up all future canisters to full?  I used to do exchange with my propane and stopped because they were charging full price for half-full propane tanks.  I don't want to have to worry about my Co2 as well.    I submitted for a refund, but I still have to take time out of my work week to return it.  Disappointing.  I highly recommend you start weighing all your Sodastream canisters.
