I love this thing. If you're thinking of buying one, I'll kind of give you a break down on how long a canister will last you. I personally like a lot of fizz, so I do 5 pumps of carbonation to 1 bottle. I usually make 4 bottles of soda or sparkling water a day and 1 canister lasts me about 2 weeks. When I did 4 pumps when I first got it, I got 2.5 weeks out of it. So it will really depend on how “fizzy” you like your drinks. 

When my bottles are empty, I just take them to Target and exchange them for new ones, which cost $15 each. So I end up spending $30 a month on the carbonation bottles and then another $15-20 on the drink syrups. 

As for the taste, to me it tastes like what you would get at a restaurant, convenience store etc.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had a SodaStream for the past 10 years and have used it almost daily.  Great product, the new terra version is simple and easier to use.  The CO2 is just inserted instead of screwed in.  The water bottle is also easier to put in for the carbonation.

I absolutely love my sodastream. I pretty much only drink water and had been getting bored with regular flavored water. I figured I'd give the soda stream a try and have enjoyed it so much I have gotten one for my brother and best friend. Only thing I did different was got a 5lb CO2 tank and an adapter that connects to the soda stream which saves me a lot of money.

One of the best gadgets I have ever purchased.

Amazing gadget, saves me so much money and saves me having to recycle plastic, and its healthier and tastier than other sparkling drinks or sodas! I love that it's wire free and portable. I can move it anywhere in my kitchen.

Awesome machine

Love Soda Stream! This is my second one and I literally wore out the first one! This one is prettier though! 
I use my Soda Stream probably 5 out of 7 days a week and with many options of flavors. Happy with this one and really like the quick connect feature.

I’m less than a week in with my new SodaStream, and I’m delighted.  Buying from Walmart was certainly the best deal I could find, and there is absolutely no doubt that this will save us money as well as reduce the amount of plastic that comes into our household.  Great purchase!

Never going back to bottles!

SodaStream is like a fantastic epidemic. I discovered them at a friend's years ago. I immediately purchased it for myself. Ever since, everybody visiting falls in love with the idea of having your own soda maker at home. I lost track of the many I've gifted to friends. 
This one was one of them, and I chose Walmart because you guys had the best price. Please, don't fail us.

No more buying cans of bubbly water and lugging them around and much cheaper on my budget .Absolutely love it ! Recommend it very much ! Canister exchange is easy !

Not only is this item economical(you exchange tank at customer service for half price) BUT ALSO it saves tons of cans that Im no longer using! I use filtered water with it and Mio drink enhancers SO YUMMY! I SAT ON THE FENCE A LONG TIME WITH THIS ONE....DONT YOU WONT REGRET IT

LOVE IT

This is a simple, effective, and well constructed device.  I find the weight and build quality of the CO2 cylinders to be well above industry standards.  The machine is fairly simple although still well made.  I use three [one second long] firm presses of the button and this carbonates the water to a very good and satisfactory level.  By the way; THE COLDER THE WATER THE BETTER THE CARBONIZATION.  I highly recommend this.

A great substitute for soft drinks

Disappointed, the soda stream didn't work, right out of the box. This was a Christmas gift, so it was frustrating that this didn't work. From reading online, looks like ours is missing a piece. Am taking this back to the store in the morning and hopefully they can exchange it for one in the store
