Built-in Light

Am using this lap desk/table right now as I type this. It has a thick bottom that is comfortable on my lap and the wrist strip is nice. The little lamp, which tucks away in a zippered pocked when not in use, is perfect for reading without other lights on. The lamp requires four AA batteries to operate, and there is an on/off switch right by the light. The lamp can be adjusted to fit exactly where it is needed. I highly recommend this desk for anyone who likes to use a laptop (room for a 17" laptop along with a wireless mouse), tablet, book or puzzle magazine while reclining like I'm doing!

I purchased this for a road trip from Ohio to Florida and back so I could work while my husband drove.  I have a 15" laptop and there was plenty of room to the right side to use my remote mouse.  I ended up also using this in the vacation rental home.  The light has small LED bulbs and can either be plugged into your computer or into the port built into the desk to run off of batteries.  The light was great in the early morning when I needed to work but didn't want to turn on a lot of lights in the room.  It was also great at night in the van.  There is a small storage space built into the cushion portion of the back of the desk that is convenient.  I liked that the wrist rest extends almost the full length of the desk as that kept the mouse from sliding off the desk when not in use.  I had seen complaints about that issue with other lapdesks.  I would definitely recommend this product based on my first week of use!

Great In a Vehicle and On the Couch!

I have a large and heavy Lenovo laptop that I use when I'm sitting in my recliner watching TV. (The older I get, the heavier it seems.) I bought this lap desk because it is made from "furniture quality" memory foam. It's perfect. I've used it for a month and the quality is as advertised.  So far, the foam shows no signs of being used.

Comfortable

my 17" laptop fits with room for a mouse and the padding is very comfortable. Have not hooked up the light yet as id takes batteries to use and I don't need it at my current location.

This is one of the best lap desk I have owned. It is spacious, smooth, and secures the laptop in place. I particularly like the lamp that comes with it.

Thought it was going to be bigger. But all in all it is a good product. I love the memory foam.

Thoughts.

I really liked the concept of the lap desk for  laptop and other multiple tasks.  The foam cushion was very comfortable.  The additional accessory of the light was great.
My only problems were:  1. The light required batteries but the remedy to this was to simply plug the light into the computer using the usb.  2.  The second problem I was not able to overcome and that was my cordless mouse.  It would  not stay on the desk surface when not in use and would constantly slide off of the desk or slide down and cause other windows or apps to pop-up.  3.  The wrist bar.  I would have been able to make everything work if the wrist bar had extended from end to end.  
Unfortunately, it was only later that I was able to locate this same brand with the little side tray for the mouse.  
However, I still have the problem of the wrist bar, but I believe it is something I could have worked with if I had purchased the item with the extended mouse try.  
This is truly a great tool.

The desk is very nice, comfortable and my dad likes it very much but the light attachment does not work!
