My son loves to make things out of play do or clay. But this product is so great for the price. It brings dough that he can easily make into anything and the texture is amazing does not stick to anything. And the best part is it brings things and lots of it to make into donuts or cakepops. Their were so many selections not just this one and i loved that

The play doh in this is awesome

I definitely learned to lay saran wrap or something else plastic on the table before we started playing with this. It is difficult to get off the table, just like any craft dough.

Lots of fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids love to make pretend food and have their own restaurant. These colors and tools to make the donuts are great for my daughter who is 5 and son who is 8. Thry can be as creative as they want and look realistic. I am pleased.

Great gift for young minds

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dough is very soft and has a mild pleasant smell. It is great for blending & mixing colors, there is even a color chart on the back of the box. There's a cute little rolling pin and it's a lot of fun for the kids to use. It does take some time to get used to since you must palms to push and roll. Keep the dough closed tightly in the containers and they will be soft longer. One thing about the syringe/piper is that it's kind of hard to squeeze even for an adult, so especially for a small kid. Also the main donut maker is a bit tricky for a smaller kid so enjoy the moment and play together as a family! Also the dough tends to start to squeeze out from the sides where it shouldn't. Overall good and fun product though.

Great, soft dough

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My granddaughter had a great time playing with this play set. The dough was very easy to work with it was easy to squeeze, roll and press. She made doughnuts in all different shapes and colors. She frosted some and had so much fun making the sprinkles and putting them on the doughnut. She also got out some of my cookie cutters and made cookies also with frosting, sprinkles and decorations. The box was a great added feature. It kept her busy for hours.

So Fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a really cute idea, and I thought my son would really enjoy it. The dough is not as easy to use as I was hoping...it's actually a little tougher than Play-Doh. The donut and donut hole molds (and the box to put the 'donut' in) are much smaller than I was expecting. It's actually pretty difficult, even for me, to get just the right amount of dough into the molds so you can close it but enough to make a full donut shape. My 3 year old really wanted to do it but I had to do it for him every time. We ended up using Play-Doh with these toys, but the toys still aren't great. The other issue is the syringe-type toy that is meant to make icing for the donut. It's very difficult to use with the Softee Dough. Once you do manage to push all the dough through, you have to take out the extra dough from the inside. There's no way around it...the shape that comes out is quite inappropriate, and frankly, the color of the dough that comes with the toy doesn't help anything. I want to be careful how I word this, but you can imagine from the shape of the syringe (I am not including photos of that for obvious reasons). All in all, I think this idea was good but wasn't executed very well. I give them two stars because the toys DO work, though not well, and they are sturdy enough to not break when my child pushes on them and drops them. I do like the knife in this set. It's strong and always a good thing to have with Play-Doh!
