Have a pair of 70s and 80s and they are excellent for doing seated presses for sets for 10-15 reps and I am an old guy 64 years of age and have been training since 1968.

One thing you can notice if you have solid dumbbells and plated loading kind is that it is harder to do the same amount of reps with the solids as with the plate loading dumbbells due to the solids not revolving. This makes the solids harder. When doing seated incline curls the grip is really worked.
