I work for a modern/contemporary home goods store and after losing my home in the fire, I purchased this bed frame from Walmart and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the frame.  The handyman who put it together was surprised to hear that the bed came from Walmart.

I ordered this bed frame for my daughters big girl bed! I'm really impressed with the quality. I was a little worried it would have that weird chemical smell that sometimes happens with home products but it just smells like wood! 
It was pretty easy to assemble but make sure you are double checking the pictures in the instructions as you go. The pieces have to be facing certain directions and the instructions don't always call this out. 
Otherwise it feels sturdy and the quality seems really nice!

Order this bed for my guest bedroom and it exceeds my expectations.built up quality is top notch , very easy to assemble, and has got nice rustic look to my room . I was lucky I grabbed it on sale . Would highly recommend .

I love this bed so much. Very very sturdy. Doesn't budge. Doesn't make noise. Super easy to assemble with my husband. Very heavy but that's expected with wood. It's beautiful.

Absolutely beautiful bed. Sturdy and well made. One star off for the terrible instructions (pay attention to the front and back in the pictures and keep your eye out for the predrilled holes because it is not noted and you will end up redoing things) and the questionable quality of hardware and quality control-- a few screws were very hard to screw in and two got stripped. Overall and despite these minimal downsides, I would definitely recommend and especially at the sale price!

Great bed, not great instructions.

It was such a pain to assemble because the instructions missed some details, but it is sturdy and seems like good quality.  I do wish the headboard was higher and that the screws weren't so visible. I wouldn't pay full price for this, but I'm satisfied that I got it at a deep discount.

It's nice

I bought this a month ago. It's so hard to find an affordable solid wood canopy bed. The price is good but it need two people to install. And the bed ribs smells bad and it seems like have too much moisture so it smells like mold.

Good price but hard to install

The functionality of the bed itself is a problem. The assembly took more than 6 hours for two people, as certain sections of instructions were unclear to begin with. Once everything is assembled we could not get the slats to not move and they were uneven around the tiny wooden logs that they asked to bump into the frame to keep them sturdy. As they were impossible to evenly place on the frame we didn't hammer the edges to the frame. That made the base itself so uneven and unstable. We started to get back problems and back pain everyday since we both this frame. We recommend anyone to check if the slats fit right first and return the whole frame if they don't.
