[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this little guy. I've used it three times now, with three different fuel types. The first was with pellets. Was able to boil Liter of water in about two minutes wanted to get going. The second time, I used pieces of kiln dried two by fours that I've been cut into tiny pieces. This produced a lot of snap, crackle pop more sparks than I would've liked considering I was using it on the deck the time I use it, I used grill kiln dried hardwood chunks. At the end of the day, I went through 2 pounds of pellets to produce a one hour fire.

Solo stove Campfire

With the pandemic we're stuck at home more.  Since we can't take our beach vacation or make other trips...we decided to put that money to purchasing the Campfire solostove bundle with tripod & 2 pan set.
Took out of the box...there was a slight dent in the solostove...but that's probably going to happen in time anyway.  Washed the pan & starting building a fire.  The kids enjoyed forging for wood sticks & dried leaves right in the backyard while I got the ingredients together.
They are at the age where they don't really want to spend time together, much less with me...but for almost 2 hours...we were doing a family activity.  I've got to share the recipe---it was amazing!  I started with a little Extra Virgin Olive Oil in the pan, heated & added a bag of frozen fajita vegetables.  Once they began to thaw--I added frozen Tyson chicken strips.  In no time, the vegetables & chicken was tender, so I added taco seasoning, about 1/4 cup of water & brought to a boil.  Then a dash of cilantro, the juice squeezed from 1 lime wedge--gave everything a stir & covered to simmer while I sat out shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, salsa & chips.   Removed the pan from the solostove & placed on a trivet & heated soft tortilla shells--took about 30 seconds.  It was delicious...far better than if I cooked it in the kitchen AND best part...no cleanup.  By the time we'd finished eating the solostove was cool.  Put away our dishes & fired it up again to roast marshmallows.  If you're thinking about this purchase & are looking for ways to bring the family together & enjoy some "pandemic" time...this is the way to go.  It was a low cost meal...didn't even require electricity, propane or charcoal.  We're buying the Bonfire next.

Chicken Fajitas were amazing!

Purchased this stove recently and was well satisfied by the company service, delivery time and most importantly the quality of the product!!!
Stove works great and would make a good investment for natural disaster situations, power or fuel outages as well as "peppers"

I first purchased this Solo Stove on the kickstarter. When we received it we were impressed with it's quality.  We had to try it out and we did a little challenge between the Solo Campfire and my glass top kitchen stove on boiling water in the pot we got for the stove. We were surprised to find out the Solo Campfire beat out my kitchen stove. Next test take it on a winter camping trip  with  a patrol of Scouts. The Scouts cooked two meals on it using a cast iron skillet: Pork roll, egg, & cheese and Sloppy Joes. Both meals came out great. Finally test so far, weekend backpacking trip 15 miles on the AT. We used the Campfire for every meal and it worked perfectly. All we had to do was pick-up small twigs we found on the trail and we were good to go. In summary, I am super impressed by this product and have purchased four more for our growing Troop :-)

Really disappointed! I have the small one and really like it. Wife got me this one for the family campouts and it burns really really dirty. Like throw the pan away black. The only time it cleans up is just before it is out of fuel. My small one burn cleanish and my friend has the titan and it's great. This thing is horrible. Going to try customer service. Might just throw it away.
