Really weird looking football it has twist tab to change the fins from left hand to right it doesn't whistle great with light throws but man it comes alive with harder throws flys great and the kids love it seems very durable as well they have hit it on several hard surfaces with no damage

This Aerobie Sonic Fin Aerodynamic Outdoor Football is great fun for all ages! It is so much fun seeing how far it can go and my toddler enjoyed running after it to fetch it lol. She also loved throwing it although it didn't go far for her. She didn't want to let anyone else have a turn because she loved it so much. This is great fun for home in the backyard or front yard if big enough and great for the park or beach or wherever really. Love it.

My boys really had a great time with this football. Its nice that its adjustable to be used by a right or left handed person and also very durable. I was so surprised at how hard and tough this ball was. Its lots of outdoor fun with a funky different kind of football.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We took this out for a test spin as a family in the park  wow, it went FAR! Once we got the hang of how to throw it correctly, we made sure we gave each other lots of space as this thing really goes for a hike! Lots of fun.

Fun toy for kids

I received this product to test for free.  I would say this product has its pros and cons. While the adults and kids all seemed to enjoy playing with football, there were some complaints of the hardness of the top and fins if it wasn't caught just right. A few "ouches" here and there. The football would go quite the distance and would whistle as it glided through the air. Overall, a fun time was had by all even.

We tried the new Aerobie Sonic Fin Aerodynamic football this weekend. The kids had fun throwing the football to each other. It is easier for kids to hold since it is a smaller size and lighter weight then a regular size football. However, they didn't have much success in making it whistle because they weren't strong enough to throw it with that much force.

Fun size Football

Great concept. Easy to use. In practice did not seem to work as well as advertised. Does not feel to be very study holding it but was able to withstand some falls onto concrete and asphalt well. The gyroscopic hole detracts a lot from it being like throwing a solid football. Definitely need a wide open area to play. Well suited to a large open field. Only really whistles when launched well. Not as fun for simple backyard or frontyard play. Ideal if had equivalent of whole football field to play on. Fins which are custom to right or left handed throwing is a bit loose, and does not lock in place well. So need to make sure its turned correctly before every throw. Makes it a little cumbersome when everyone playing is same handed and does not stay on fin setting without readjusting after a couple throws. We all had a lot more fun playing with the aerobie pro ring than the sonic fin football. We attempted to do the sonic fin challenge but no one was able to throw for excessive yardage. Everyone still had fun playing though. If purchasing recommend considering only if on sale. More aimed at fun for quarterbacking as opposed to receiving or back and forth play.
