[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is not the latest subwoofer out by Sonos but it seems to be the same as the newest Sonos subwoofer except this being the Sonos 3 has a piano black finish and the Sonos 4 has the matte black finish. The sound of bass is deep and heavy.

I can now listen to my movies from my TV or Apple TV or any music I choose in any room I choose or everywhere I go in the house seamlessly. We finally added the Sub to our Sonos surround sound in our living room and we could not BELIEVE the impact to the sound quality! Adding the Sub made everything clearer and so dynamic! Even watching older films like Monsters Inc blew us away (seriously, the scene where Boo screams in their apartment sounded INCREDIBLE through the Sub!!) Get one!!

I already had the Sonos Arc sound bar and wanted extra depth, and my word, the Sonos Gen 3 sub woofer gives that and a whole lot more.. the difference is astounding in what it gives to an already excellent sound bar. The room is enhanced with a rich deep tone that brings extra depth. Superb add on..

What an add-on

The products are wonderful in the world of audio and they compete with giant companies with a long history in producing audio equipment from loudspeakers and others... I apologize to you, my English is not good, and accept my utmost appreciation and respect.

Yes, definitely

I need more grunt and rumble to my current Sonos Beam sound bar. Oh boy! I'm sure glad I did... it has brought new life to my listening experience in my small/medium sized living room. Play around with the sub placement to get what you feel fits. Immersive music and movie enjoyment. Don't over think, just buy. Save up the money and get the larger sub.

The Sub sounds good, but I think the sub mini actually has more definite bass. The sub mini sounded better on display in the store, so I originally went with that. Recently bought 2 Sub Gen3's to put in the living room and, honestly,, I'm not that impressed for the price. This is the first SONOS product that I have been disappointed in

Sounds good, but,,,,

This sub and Sonos arc soundbar do what I needed them to in my second viewing room. It's not anywhere near my real surround system in quality, and Sonos is not trying to complete with SVS, Klipsch etc 7.2+ systems. Not everyone wants the real thing in their den/viewing area. But the prices on Sonos products are an overestimation of itself.

Decent quality, poor value

2 weeks and it will not connect to any of my other Sonos soundbars or products Keeps wanting to update - then when completed it fails to connect - says it needs another update Too expensive for this to happen. Was told to delete my entire system and start over adding all speakers again. Ugh.
