We had a great tv but our old Sony speakers were not working for us as well as they used to.  This soundbar really helps the dialogue to be so much clearer and makes watching and LISTENING to tv so much more enjoyable.  Have always appreciated SONY's quality and hope that this new addition will last for many years.

I purchased this soundbar against the advice of the salesman who suggested the 3.1 model due to price. I'm 100% happy with the sound quality and ability to adjust the bass, which is awesome for this price range. My only issues are, the location of the inputs, which are the same on pretty much the same on every unit. But, the strangest issue is, this specific unit, turns my tv on randomly? I have to date, replaced the cable box, the HDMI cable, surge protector,  had the tv serviced, and computer board replaced, still, the soundbar turns my tv on? I even replaced this soundbar with another, still the same issue? Tonight, I was advised to use the OPTICAL cable, NOT, the HDMI. We will see if this does the trick?
But, this Sony, HT-S350, priced nearly half that as the Samsung R650, blows the Samsung away.

Great Sound

This speaker sounds great. Just what I was looking for. It is powerful for the price. I bought a Sony TV recently and added the HT-S350 combo to spice it up a bit more. Having 2.1 channels is plenty for me. The sound bar fits perfectly under the TV and the wireless sub synced up automatically. The TV and sound bar linked via the ARC port instantly to allows control from TV remote.

Works in Harmony with Sony TV

I bought this excellent device one month ago and I surprise with the great sound I got. I used to ha a BDV3100  2010. Great product too. died eleven years later. Imaging. I was looking for something similar but there was not a system like this anymore. This sound bar bring back more than I expected from SONY. I highly recommended all SONY products without any doubt.

Great sound, excellent in every way

This sound Bar connects easily. I love how the subwoofer is wireless. It works great, even with my old TV. It turns on automatically and ran through the tv remote automatically. The sound is amazing and I am very happy with this sound bar. It was an excellent product, especially for the price.

Excellent sound

I needed a speaker system after mine quit working. I tried this surround blue tooth to get away from running so many wires. It sounds as good as my old system.

I bought this about a month ago to go with our Sony 55 in TV. It was an easy set up and everything synced very quickly. I would recommend HDMI cable. Sound is very good.

My Review for 2.1ch Soundbar

Positives: small size, easy set up, versatile use using bluetooth, likely longterm durability due to direct powered rather than battery.
Negative: not high fidelity sound, though it is difficult to tease it apart when all sound is coming through wifi

Good value; not concert quality sound

We got this as a gift from our children.  We had a few problems hooking it up as we needed an HDMI cable and didn't have one, but after getting one it was very easy to install.  The sound quality is great but the only problem we have with it is the sound does not go extra loud.  This is only a problem because our mancave has a propane heater that is quite loud when it kicks on and we need some extra volume at times.  In a normal setting, I'm sure the volume would be sufficients.  Very satisfied!

Nice Soundbar

The installation was straighforward and the sound is reasonably good. The TV is a new Sony HD and I expected that the sound bar and the TV would work well together. I read a lot of reviews and was suprised that no one mentions that for most events the voices do not synchronize with the lips. For a lot of shows, its like watching old Japanese movie dubbing. According to Sony this is normal. This is a definite negative feature of  this sound bar.

Easy installation but disappointing performance

After turning on the TV the sound bar and internal speakers fight for who will transmit the sound.  I receive multiple pop ups on the screen saying the audio is being switched to "External Speakers", then it says audio being switched to TV speakers.  This goes on 3 or 4 times.  Very annoying. Can't use the manual buttons on the sound bar if it is mounted flush to the bottom of the TV.  Poor design
