We've been using this tele for couple of weeks and are very happy with it. It was easy to set up and we use it via WiFi in our bedroom. Bought the Bravia 8 for the lounge which is worth the extra money, in my opinion, but the Bravia 3 is spot on for the bedroom.

Good value for money

sony.com

All working well. Love the catch-up facility. Have explored some apps. but still experimenting.

Getting to know it still

I am happy with the tv but looking online instructions are not always clear. For example for a number days we have been getting subtitles on the screed without wanting them and tried numerous times to remove them but they still kept coming back. Proper help would be appreciated

Subtitles

I'm sorry to say this this is Fourth bravo television I know if it's a software fault or me I have trouble Turn it on and turn it off with me or if it's a software problem I'm thinking about taking it back to the shop

At the moment he's got a good facilities, But I lo

We already had a 42" Bravia 3 so assumed going to the 55" would have all the same features. Wrong the newer 55" doesn't allow me to listen through headphones at the same time as my wife listens via the speakers! We now know dual outputs is not the same as simultaneous. Expensive mistake. Sold the new one on after 5 days.

Beware, dual is not the same as simultaneous!

Mmm !! I have have had Sony Bravia tv's before and was rather a fan of the 'idea' of reliabilty etc.. Whilst I am fairly confident this TV will be reliable - I have to say that the quality of the picture is below what I expected. I have tried for over a week or more tweeking the settings (and advanced settings) - but whilst the picture is certainly 'adequate' - it doesn't hit my expectation. The external shots are fine and pretty natural, but it does seem to struggle balancing studio shots with what these days almost seems to be the obligatory mix of 'lairy' colours. Internal shots of skin-tones seems a particular problem. We didn't have that issue in our previous tv ( dare I say it -a 'p*******c'). The tv comes with a standard refresh rate of 60 megahertz ( or whatever it is) and can be quite 'juddery' with motion shots.

Having said all that we didn't think that other makes of similarly priced -and even the more expensive tvs - of various other makes that we saw in the showrooms handled the interior studio shots well either. Maybe I'm just getting old and expecting too much from technology.

Mmmmm

Bought week ago. Our tv provider box is connected and every time there is an advert or break in a programme on any apps the tv makes a loud clicking noise which is very annoying.

Disappointed

Had this tv a few weeks now and picture is great but the smart TV functions are worse than my previous Sony tv , whenever im watching YouTube on the TV the picture constantly stops and only the sound is playing and its so bad ive had to use a fire stick. Not aure if this is linked to it randomly saying it loses Internet signal but its not my Internet as no issues with the firestick, the cec feature ive had to disable because everytime I turned the TV off it would get confused and turn the sound bar off and on and then turn the TV back on so now I have to turn sound bar off and on myself and im sure they're will be more issues to come .

Almost took this back after several resets the initial soft wear on this tv has a glitch and cannot use the or set up the Alexa app for Bravia it's lucky I have other Bravia's a as I had to work out a work around but through the tv it's useless

Buggy software

Very Disopionting. Setup really easy nice picture.
But after 3 days kept loosing picture, from sky box.
Replace HDMI cable which fixed the problem. If the press the sky button, on the sky remote it changed inputs. After 7 days lost sound to the sound bar, which is a Sony, and only a year old .TV see the sound bar and will even adjust the volume on screen but no sound. Replace HDMI cable but made no difference. Carry factory reset, on both TV and sound bar. But problem still persists. So going back for refund won't buy another Sony product.Ps I can't even leave a review without a photo. So here's 1 of TV in its box ready to go back 😔😔

Very disappointing
