Still playing around with the set up, as my room is non standard. At the moment the quility of sound when used on Blue ray or Sony's own website is fantastic. They also give you 10 free films to try too.

Thoroughly impressed with sound this unit produces, easily one of the best "sound Bar" systems I have ever owned. Easy set-up, easy installation and east room calibration features. DEFINETLY recommend this Sony subwoofer add on for that thumping BASS!

IMPRESSIVE, ENCOMPASSING ROON FILLING SOUND!!!!!!!

It has been 4 days since I bought the Sony Theatre Quad Sound System. Took me a little time to set up but it was so straight forward. It compliments my Sony Bravia A95L TV beautifully! I am absolutely delighted with sound quality. However, I am a little disappointed that the speaker fabric only comes in grey and wish Sony gave a choice of colours like black! Overall very pleased with my purchase.

Looks like art, sounds like a movie theatre

I had been thinking about purchasing this Sony Quad System for some time and finally ordered.
This Quad system would be replacing a Sony Sound Bar, two rear speakers and I would be retaining my Sony sub-woofer.
Opening the box and installing the speaker system was really straight forward. The Sony app guides you through each step to ensure speaker connection. Connection to the system via the Sony App seemed to be easy than the speaker bar, so things have been improved.
My initial speaker calibration did not produce the required soundstage, but once speaker placement had been defined and re-calibration set up completed, the system produced what I was hoping for.
The soundstage now produces clarity with all dialogue and the sub-woofer enhances as it should do.
I have tweaked the bass levels to match normal viewing, but this can be added back in via the remote for when the action films are viewed.
I thought the Sony soundbar did an excellent job, but this Sony Quad System takes you to another level, greater immersion with the soundstage.

Everything in one package

The BRAVIA Theatre Quad completely transformed my living room into a cinema. The 360 Spatial Sound Mapping is unbelievable, it really feels like sound is coming from every direction, even behind you. Pairing it with my BRAVIA TV was effortless, and Dolby Atmos brings movies and music to life with incredible clarity and depth. Build quality is premium, setup was straightforward, and the wireless sub hits perfectly. Worth every penny!

Truly cinematic sound experience at home

Let down by having to use a Sony subwoofer, and lack of controllability. Would be better if you could integrate a third party sub… and have more control of speaker crossovers, generally ok for tv but not great for music… unit returned :-(

Lack of EQ settings

They go through the Internet for connection so if you have crappy Internet connection, they're no good would never buy them again. The best are wired in systems.

Not Bluetooth connect through your Internet sucks
