Love the many functions it helps target

This product is excellent for beginners or for those who simply want to keep fit. It's worth the 200$ that i spent.

Simple home gym

Weight bench

It's an okay bench for general workouts, even mass-building, but it needs getting used to. The preacher bench attachment is great and solid as well as the padding on the bench itself, but the one thing that drops it a star and a half is that the board under the padding is weaker than older benches I've had, and the two, one inch-wide bars holding the long bench pad are too close together. If you do all curls, lifts, flies, etc while sitting, make sure to get on and off straddling it facing front or back, because the padded part will rock if you move or sit sideways, and it did make unwanted 'cracking' noises. Good for anyone starting out, young or old, and it's great for a small apartment, but it's not for large folks. Tall folks above 6ft won't really get much out of the leg lifts either. But was the right size for our apartment, and on sale for nearly half-price. And it works for me, so I'm content with it since it's frame-work is strong.

It's About What You'd Expect For The Price

I'm 6 ft tall and have to say a few things about this bench are off:

1) Height: when lying flat it seems a bit high...  Shorter people may have trouble extending to get barbells off the floor for chest flies etc.

2) Don't even plan on using this for leg extensions.  If you look closely at the picture of this bench you'll see its missing the piece that goes behind your knees.  It basically makes any of the leg exercises useless.  They feel awkward and uncomfortable

I've tried looking for a potential component that would plugin where the preacher curl thing goes because it looks like something should work there.  Unfortunately I can't find anything.
