Extremely strong and sturdy, just what I was looking for!!

This has been a godsend with gyms still closed where I live in the northeast. Only regret is I wish I got it sooner, I mean my legs are looking small bro. Only slander against this product is if you are doing any more than 225 it can be wobbly when you re rack it so you really need 2 extra 25lb weights to put on the pegs at the bottom to solidify it. Its not a huge deal though. For the price its a good product and its very portable. Definitely something to consider if you dont have a lot of space or cash to spend on a $350  Full squat rack.

I purchased this product for my 16-year-old son who works out a lot. The type of materials that are used in this product are strong, durable, and more than effective for him to work out. I gave this product a five star rating because it is worth that rating. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone else who is looking to do squats or deadlifts in their house.

Good for the money. Box was a bit beat up when it arrived but I had all the parts.  Tools for assembly are not included - but you would want to build this with proper tools anyway (not the type manufacturers typically include).  Assembly itself was fairly easy.  Based on another review, I put some duct tape around the male (inner) pieces to take out some of the wiggle.  That helped.  These are fairly light so, I use two sets of dumbbells to hold down the feet (across the frame) and a bit more weight on the weight pegs (total of 80lbs per side). That helps stabilize the stands.  For the money, the quality is fine.  Height Adjustments are a bit tricky because the uprights have three things holding them in place (a pin, the pin from the spotter arm, and the pin from the other (bench press) support).  But then again, the fact that there are three pins supporting each upright probably adds to the amount the uprights would hold.  I am a 140lb, 50 year old dude .... Im not putting more than 200 on the squat uprights.  The bench press catch/wedge doesnt look super strong.  In the valor fitness video for the BD9 (which is very similar) the presenter says that those hooks are only for light bench press (but didnt say a weight limit). I also emailed valor fitness to see if they rated the capacit for the bench press on the bd-9.  No response.  They could have made these far better by using typical J hooks for the bench press and spotter arm (one that doesnt screw into the upright).  Overall - these are probably a 3 but Ill rate them a 4 because of the price.
