Good solid amp and quality sound

Nice amp, love that its 5 channel (with a sub out) so that I only need to have one amp to cover all the sound in my Jeep

If you are looking for an easy upgrade for your entire stereo system this little guy fits the bill very well. Unbelievably compact and powerful. It transformed my stock BMW system into a sound stage. Combined with a new head unit and a 10" subwoofer the difference is incredible!
You won't be blasting out your windows with this set up, but I have crystal clear music with highs and lows very well balanced through-out the volume range which was my goal.

Excellent!

Great little amp. Sufficient power for 4 door speakers and a sub. adjustable gains and pass filters. takes a beating.
Problem with remote turn on wire. Miniscule gauge wire, broken from factory. Solution was to depin a connector and wire from one of the speaker level inputs and swap out (I was using line level rcas). The bass remote is mandatory.

Great name So far!

The instructions are terrible, if you wired these up everyday it wouldn't be a problem. I'm betting they're all similar. They want you to take it to a place that charges an outrageous price and can install these blind folded. I figured it out by watching several 
YouTube videos. This one doesn't tell you right front right rear etc.. only channel 1,2,3 etc… I've noticed other amps do. But, I figured it out. I had trouble getting the power to turn on, luckily I remember a YouTuber mentioning the power that's keyed, I used a blue wire that is suppose to be for a power antenna. Then, the problem arose, the remote and this is where you put the keyed power, funny it doesn't tell you this in plain language. The plug for the remote is bad, the white power wire isn't connected right in the plug. Now I have to either return or get soundstream to send me the new control knob and plug.

No good instructions.

the biggest issue with this amp is the lack of actual physical RCA inputs on the amp. they come with the RCA is attached to a miniature plug that plugs into the amp along with a miniature plug for the base control and the remote turn which is very fragile. the wire turn on pulled out of the miniature plug for the amp and I had to fix it with a little Gorilla Glue. be careful when installing this amp because you cannot put much pressure on the wires that go to these little plugs that plug into the side of the amp. the power output is not quite what's advertised. I sort of expect that coming from a class D amplifier at this price point. once I got it all ironed out and fixed it's not too bad. if you're looking to boost your factory system and add a sub and not looking for a major mind blowing volume level then this app is for you. it does run a little hot but nothing like the class A B.

OK amp for the price

I'm a professional mobile electronics installer. I installed this to upgrade my summer car, including some Aura mids and Focal TN52 tweeters I haven't used in years. 
On power-up to set the gains, I could barely reach a moderate output level before the 4 channel section started cutting out. This wasn't clipping, I didn't reach clipping. Very unusual, more like a very quickly self-resetting protection, although my load overall was 4 ohm and this amp is rated for 2 ohms.

I then installed a line driver, not knowing the head unit line voltage, and hoping it was a side effect of my input signal being well smaller than the actual voltage window, but this didn't help.

I'm now suspecting a defective input stage, since the very same inputs on the amp are used for low level AND high level (you either plug in the RCA inputs, or the other connector that facilitate speaker level connections), which is very unusual and either means there's an auto-detect circuit that's malfunctioning, or else the gain control is just sized to handle a broad input voltage.

Either way, my biggest clue of defect is the barely-moderate level of output before reaching this behavior, which is nowhere near the advertised 60w level of output - 10w output cheap head units get louder, so clearly this isn't functioning properly. 

The subwoofer channel seems to be functioning fine, interestingly.
