[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used hundreds of these tweeters. Either you love them or you hate them. They are coil boosted hybrid piezos with no voice coil or ohms insertion problems as your source sees 20 ohms or higher. They DO NOT remotely sound like conventional piezos. Treat them like capacitors, not resistors. They cross themselves over and so don't need one. You can use multiple arrays in parallel for more loudness and power handling. They are extremely efficient in the very high frequency super tweeter range. They are however NOT full range tweeters and should be combined with other treble, or especially, mid drivers, or added to existing full range systems, where they excel. They are NOT lower range screamers or ear rippers, and some find them too edgy (sharp, crisp) (usually when used by themselves!). They are tough little buggers and can take a beating well beyond their watt rating. Some LOVE and some HATE the chrome tarantula (arachnophobes) and showy chrome metal body (too cheesy), I am in the love camp. Babs and scooter go home, not for you! They can be somewhat inconsistent in sample-to-sample volume, and there are tricks to their installation. There's always something!
