The product took me about 2 hours to put together on my own and directions were only mildly confusing at times. One drawer appeared to be missing a rubber piece that may affect how the drawer closes and doesn't seem to have a good fit. When on the last step putting the screws in to lock all the boards together there didn't seem to be any pre-drilled holes which makes it difficult to  screw these together when you are on your own given the directions.  The quality is decent for the price and serves its purpose.

The bed was fairly easy to assemble, until you had to secure the platform to the base. When the assembly is completed you are now left with dangerous 90degree edges that protrude out a good 8 to 10 inches beyond the mattress. I'm sure someone will be hitting there ankles or shin bones on these corners, or worse a small child may get injured if they fell into it. The mattress can not be secured to the mounting platform, essentially it is free floating on the frame. 
I will be adding foam to the corners of the bed platform  And possibly adding  strips of wood to surround the Mattress to avoid the mattress from sliding around.

Be careful if you have kids

I keep hitting my shins on the edges of the bed.  I used a saw to round off the edges at the foot of the bed and this has helped prevent more bruising.  The bed looks great and I love the storage drawers.

Nice bed.

Took 6 hours with two people to put together. Wooden pieces didn't match up with the screw holes to stabilize bed. Pieces came scratched and too long or too short.

Sucked

It was missing a piece and we were given two of another.  We made it work but it was too much money to deal with that.   My son didn't want to wait to send it back because it would be too much of a hassle and he wouldn't have a bed.

Unhappy customer

Well to start while putting this item together none of the pieces fit together they were between an inch to an inch and a half off. When putting together the drawer it broke through the bottom because again it did not fit correctly together. Its like someone guessed when cutting the wood. Then not even 3 days after we received it my boyfriend and his mother were just sitting on it and watching tv and "CRACK" it broke under a small amount of pressure. I checked the weight limit and it was no where near the maximum limit. This item is UNSAFE, horribly made, and NOT worth what we paid for it. We knew when we bought such a cheap item that we weren't going to be getting the best product in the world but oh my god this bed frame is not worth any amount of money. I could have done a better job building the thing from scratch with wood I cut myself, and I suck at that kind of thing. Don't buy this product. They haven't responded to any of my complaints about this product and I don't expect to get any kind of retribution. Ridiculous.

Horrible Quality-Not Safe

Setting it up was a struggle, directions said there were certain holes for the nails, and the wood didn't have any, has already broken in a few places, I only wiegh 120 pounds... And the drawers are impossible to reach and are hard to open and close.

Terrible made bed

First thing we noticed was scratches and dings in the paint. Them two boards had broken corners. I wanted to pack it up and return it but my daughter wanted this bed also badly. My husband drives 30min into town to try and find something to fix them. He did but it isn't pretty. The drawers were difficult to put together and they don't open very well. If you have carpet I suggest not buying this bed if you want to use the drawers. I don't expect them to last long. But again my daughter. Then after flipping over the platform the dowels wouldn't stay in. They kept falling out then the predrilled holes didn't match up. I have no idea what my husband did to make it all work out. Overall very frustating. It is a good thing you don't see much of the bed it's self.  But in the end my daughter is happy and that is what is important.

Don't waste your money

And I checked upon arrival to see if all the parts were here and they were but the assembly instructions purely sucked when I was assembling the bed the panel's did not line up with the holes I had to make my own hold I would not recommend this bed to anyone

On this bed it was very poor quality

I bought this bed for my son's birthday, as a surprise and am so disappointed. It took around an hour and a half to assemble and once I was done I could tell it wasn't going work. The corners on the foot of the bed stick out about 8 inches past the end of the bed making it an optical illusion and you continuously hit your shins on the corners making moving around almost impossible. By the end of the evening my son, myself, my mom, and my boyfriend all had bruised and bloody shins. They are super sharp and dangerous. I ended up disassembling it the next day and cutting off the corners with a saw. It's better now, but I had to hide the raw edges with black sharpie. It looks awful and would never recommend this bed to anyone!
