I was so worried this would look really cheap as its going in my kitchen. It actually looks pretty good I mean you know its not high end furniture but nobody would ever guess it was around 70 bucks!!!! I actually really like this, lots of room inside and once together pretty solid I have my kitchenaid stand mixer on top and have no worries about the cabinet tipping or cracking. I would recommend this to anyone and may buy another for my spare room can't beat the price and free shipping. I was able to put together by my self in a couple hours,directions not prefect but you can get through them!

Amazing for the price.

I had this cabined shipped to the store and was able to pick it up in about a week. It did NOT have a single imperfection or scratch on it and it all lined up great when put together. It took 2 people about half an hour to build it. Instructions are pretty clear but one has to pay close attention to what side goes to the front and what side goes to the back. Happy with the quality for the price also.

I also bought the taller (double) version of this South Shore line cabinet with a different online seller, as Walmart does not carry it, and unfortunately that cabinet came with couple of scratches on the doors.

Perfection!

This cabinet was purchased as a coffee stand for the front office of my business and it looks great. I put it together myself but the instructions are not as clear as they could be so take your time. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase and the free shipping was an extra perk!

Cabinet is great value for the money!

I have bought this kind of furniture in the past, and it was poor quality, so had a few reservations and compared lots of different brands, prices, and sizes before ordering. I'm so glad I did. I bought this to use in my sewing room, which is a small room, and put it on top of a countertop. It is perfect. My only complaint is that it comes with one adjustable shelf, and for the size, it could use a second shelf.
I won't say that it was easy to assemble, but because I have put some of these together before, it wasn't as hard. I am amazed at the quality of this and will look for this brand the next time I need a cabinet, thinking of ordering another one for the kitchen. This one is the cherry one.

Much nicer than expected

The cabinet came well-packed and intact. A quick inventory of the fasteners and accessories showed that everything was there that needed to be and a few extra of the easily misplaced or destroyed pieces. The laminated chipboard was well-made and the finished cabinet seems quite robust. Assembly was straight forward and I was able to assemble the cabinet by myself. A second pair of hands would be useful and would make the assembly go faster. I am completely satisfied with this product and look forward to using it for years to come.

Nice, easy to build and inexpensive

I had this delivered, and the package was 73 pounds. No joke, I bruised my foot on it trying to get it in the house. Unpacked everything, everything that the instructions listed was there. There was one board that had a dent in the middle of it, which my first thought was it was from the shipping, but this board was in the middle of the other boards in the package (plus the package didn't have any corresponding dents), so not sure what the deal was on that. I decided since the dented part was going to be inside the cabinet that I was not annoyed enough to return it.

The instructions were just pictures, and sometimes took a little bit of contemplating to figure out, but overall I'd say it's easier than anything that comes from Ikea. The screws don't seem like the best quality; any resistance while screwing them in started to strip them.

Anyway, once assembled, it is a pretty good cabinet. It holds all my crafty stuff, and the magnet that holds the doors closed seems strong enough to keep my cats out of there. I am considering ordering another one for my sewing stuff.

Pretty Good Cabinet

Nice looking cabinet. Solid. Good deal for the money. Two small complaints, one the manufacturer, the other for the transport company but also the manufacturer's fault. The knobs on the doors attach with a screw. One of the knobs is stripped and won't stay on the screw and hence falls off every time someone opens the door using that knob. Worse was the condition of the material in the box. Three edges were smashed and a cross bar was deeply gouged. Fault of rough handling in shipping but also inadequate packaging by the manufacturer. They say you are supposed to examine the product before signing for it but that is just not feasible.

Almost great

This is the all time worst set of assembly instructions. These instructions make Ikea instructions look like the Rosetta stone. What is wrong with these companies that can not figure out how to make building instructions that are easy to read and follow? Aside from my lucky guesses and two mistakes, one of which I corrected, the piece looks great. But beware of assemblage challenge.

Hungry Keith bought this item

I am happy with this purchase. It meets all the needs I intended for it. However, the downside of this product is that after I finished putting it together, my hands had been stained slightly with a red color from the "cherry wood" finish. It also smells quite awful. After construction I had to wipe it down with soapy water to get rid of the smell and some of the extra stain without damaging the product.

I am happy with this purchase

We were looking for a simple storage cabinet and this one looked nice and would fit in where we wanted to put it. I got it home after a ship-to-store event. The next thing I did was lay it on the ground and take a box cutter and slide through the tape. Once I opened the lid and saw the first board, which was one of the outside pieces, I shook my head. A lot of the veneer was peeled off and it looked like they tried to match the color by using a black sharpie, which obviously did not do what they were trying to do. The QC process at this manufacturer must be incredibly lacking if they missed something as obvious as this.

My wife was right in this occasions. don't buy inexpensive furniture online. Walmart returned it with no questions. At least that was a bright side. It seemed pretty durable and heavy but it was just a let down.

I opened the box. The wood was messed up.
