I was hesitant to purchase this due to some negative reviews. But because I have recently built a lot of furniture for our home, I decided to get it. The build went great but I would recommend a few things. When assembling the two long skinny boards on the side if the door fronts, they give short screws with no pre-drilled holes on the veneer. There is no way to get a drill in there to make a little hole and space constraints make it almost impossible to get them in with a screwdriver. I did eventually get them in but having to put them through this little black “L” clip at the same time made me say a few choice words! Also, the hinges for the cabinet doors came packaged together with no numbers on them. There were 4 hinges and they looked the same to me. I studied them and looked at the instruction book picture that should have a big red circle pointing out the difference. I finally figured it out and will include a picture to help others. Why couldn't numbers be put on these metal pieces by the manufacturer? I absolutely love this island and built it (almost) by myself. My husband had to help me put the top on. I would recommend this beautiful piece to anyone!

This island is exactly what my kitchen needed, it's a lot sturdier than it looks and looks great in person. I changed the hardware to gold and I'm very pleased with the way it turned out.

Perfect for my little kitchen

HEAVY definitely need two people to put together, sturdy, spacious, gorgeous. you cant go to lowes or home depot to change the handles, they are bigger than anything lowes has. but im obssessed

This kitchen island is beautiful %26 perfectly matches my faux marble countertop %26 pulls everthing together also giving me the storage I need. Top of corner table had damage but manufacture quickly sent out replacement, so dont be afraid to purchase, this company wants to keep customers happy! Im thrilled with this purchase %26 quick replacement.

Kitchen island

Instructions were not the best...took 3 hours to put it together. The drawers are a little wigglie, but the function is perfect. I really like it!

I chatted with a Walmart representative and he told me  that after receiving the package I could go to the Walmart store and buy the insurance .I went to the store and they said that they  cannot do that with online purchases .smh ! If I would've know I was going to go to all this trouble I wouldn't buy it from Walmart  !!
I spent some much money on this kitchen  island for it  not have insurance ,it is not real wood and who knows what might happen in the future . Right now the doors wont closed evenly , we tried so many time to fixed them and it was impossible , in order to closed the doors we have to put them together and closed them at the same time
I want to know how can I get the insurance protection back ?

Why the  insurance  protection was cancelled ?

Much bigger than expecting from picture - not that it's a bad thing - and much more sturdy too. Expecting the back to be a bit similar to the cardboard backing that you seen on bookshelves, but it's  actually the same thick material the the counter top is made of. Shelf space is decent inside, we put pots and pans in ours, and, although it wasn't able to fit them all, it was more so the way we had it set up. It however does lose one star because the door on the right hand side (which comes with pre-drilled holes for the handle) was set up to use a completely different sized handle than the left door. A handle which, not only did it look nothing like the other handles, but wasn't even included in the box at all. Thankfully, the person we got to put it together was able to copy the left door by drilling holes and covering the pre-drilled holes with the white tape that was provided. Unsure if we just got one with a random glitch or if they're all like that, but it wasn't enough to justify a return. However, it may potentially be an issue if you're big on aesthetics because, even with the holes covered, they're noticeable.

Nicer Than Expected, But Potential issue with door

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The doors refuse to align. Despite all my efforts the doors will not line up even. This makes it difficult to close. The island is really small. Two people can't get in and be comfortable. Was not a good purchase at all and one corner came chipped. Purchase something else. I regret this purchase
